Reviews
• Main dish (pork ribs): texture was excellent (10/10), but again too salty.
• Orange cake (recommended by the staff) was great — paired perfectly with the thick whipped cream on top, sweetness was just right. Best dish of the meal.
• Total was about $200 for two people, not including tip.
• Overall rating: 7/10. Food was acceptable; atmosphere and service were excellent (9/10).
• Probably won’t return
Super cute place inside, very cozy and nice bar seating area. All the staffs were super helpful, attentive and sweet.
Perfect date spot, light not too dim, portions are on the smaller end and pretty vibey.
The food was delicious! Every sauce and broth was so unique and well curated. Each dish got better and better with each bite. I know I’ll be craving another visit very soon.
My personal faves from the night were the sardine toast (I called it a sushi toast) and the mafaldine which had notes of almost a seaweed like flavor, but everything was great. My only note was with the asparagus and salt cod dish the flavor of the asparagus drowned out the cod – I appreciated the cod and the ramp more on their own or with the sourdough. Definitely get the sourdough to sop up any and all of the leftover sauces. They’re that good
We had a table in the back for nine people and truly felt like we were in someone’s home because of the warmth and level of hospitality. Zaneta took care of us from start to finish and made the entire experience seamless and special.
We will be back many more times. Highly recommend.
The food was beautiful and I cannot recommend this place enough.
Big shoutout to their General Manager John, who took hospitality to the next level and booked us a table at a bar next door so we had somewhere for an after dinner drink.
Impeccable night, can’t wait to come back.
My only critique is the interior design! The lighting was great but the art, particularly the gallery wall of framed prints, showcases some rather vague and uncompelling pieces. It’s like shooting your self in the foot! Does not feel like it speaks to the menu at all. Would love to see maybe works from local Brooklyn artists or somethings bit more rooted in the feeling of the food. Easy change for sure so not weighting it too heavily at all.
