Mixed experience. The staff was extremely friendly, the interior was very clean, and parking was easy, but the food was a bit underwhelming.
The spring rolls used older produce and the shrimp inside were VERY small compared to the competition. The chicken satay was just okay. Most disappointing was the spice level; we ordered “medium” curry, but it had zero heat and was less than mild. The potatoes in the curry were also tiny, maybe the size of grapes.
Great service and atmosphere, but the kitchen needs more consistency with freshness and spice. We love Thai food, but this missed the mark for us 🙁

My husband took me here for a lunch date. The food was amazing and so fresh! I had the cashew stir fry and it had such amazing flavor. My husband is a huge fan of any of their curry dishes. The service was wonderful. The music they had playing was fun too—a mix of pop songs but smooth jazz style. It was just lovely! Also you need to try the mango cake! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! The food was amazing! The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was clean, pretty, and peaceful. Everyone in our party loved their food. Especially the mango Rangoon appetizer! That is not to be missed if you enjoy cream cheese based rangoons. Sorry for the other Thai restaurants in Omaha because this is where I’ll be coming when I’m in town.

The flavor was insane. Balanced, rich, and cooked perfectly — every bite hit. No shortcuts, no blandness, just straight-up banger after banger.

We love Platoo Thai! The soups and pad thai are divine – we have loved everything we’ve tried. The staff is always so wonderful and there’s pleasant music while dining in. Such a charming atmosphere with festive decorations depending on the time of year. It’s like something out of a cozy show or movie. ❤️

On my on line order I specifically put no onions in 2 different places. But yet there were onions. I was told that the soup was made to order for special instructions. This is the 3rd time it has happened. I love the soup that’s why I keep coming back. Please read special instructions. Good thing I’m not allergic or that would be a huge issue. My colleague had been trying to get me to go here for the longest time, and I’m glad I finally did! We were warmly greeted by the owner, and seated immediately. After taking our drink order, she came back shortly to take out main orders. Food came out quickly and everything was absolutely delicious! Portion size was sizeable, prices were reasonable, and service was excellent. I definitely regret not visiting sooner, but definitely will be coming back!

The owner and the hostess were wonderful! Great family restaurant. They checked on us throughout the meal. Food was flavorful and the spiciness was just what we asked for. Got quite a bit of food for the price. Will definitely be back!
