We rode in as a group of 10 and seated ourselves at a large table. The food itself was decent, but unfortunately the service completely overshadowed the experience.
Our waitress had a poor attitude throughout the meal. She rolled her eyes, shook her head, and walked away from the table multiple times. The biggest issue was being told she could not split our tab. As a group of 10 with multiple couples, some drinking and some not, it is unfair to expect everyone to either overpay or sort it out themselves.
I work in the food industry and understand that splitting checks can be extra work, but it is not difficult. Asking at the beginning of the meal how tabs should be handled would have avoided the issue entirely.
This was our sixth annual trip here, and we have never been treated this way before. For the cost of the food, the service was disappointing.

Wow! What a treat this place is…only wish we would have found it sooner. Food was incredible, great views, and wonderful owners. Can’t say enough good things about it…the area is lucky to have such a wonderful establishment!!

Driving home from Bayfield and starving, this place showed up a little off our route but had great reviews. Soooo glad we stopped!!! Middle of nowhere but GREAT food!! Cheese curds..so good!! Waitress recommended the shrimp tacos which I would never have ordered myself. Got them… AMAZING!!! Everyone was happy at our table and the service was awesome!! It won’t disappoint!

I can’t tell you how much I love this place enough! I have been coming here since I have been a kid and I am 54 years old now lol. And what is even better about this place now than before is the food is definitely better even though it was good in the past. Outstanding Burgers….the best in the state! Everything is made fresh and delicious.

The food was good! Service was ok, the initial greeting was not very welcoming. It’s a bar, so I wouldn’t expect fine dining. The food was good and the service was prompt. I would go back, but not for a fancy dinner by any means.

Pla-mor Bar is everything you want in a classic Wisconsin stop. We ordered the steak, pretzels, and a cheeseburger, and every bite was spot-on — the steak was juicy and flavorful, the pretzels came out warm and perfectly salted, and the burger had that homemade, can’t-beat bar style.

This was a very nice stop with a wonderful setting. The owner’s were working and you could tell they had real passion about this business. The food was amazing, the view was great, and the place was spotless. I would suggest stopping in and seeing what makes this area great. Will return!

Service and drinks were top grade. Haven’t tried the food yet but the chef really looked like he knew his field. You can actually watch him cook from the bar as you sit and have a cocktail. I checked out the menu, and was shocked to see that the prices seemed to be fair for this lake area being such an entitled social scene.
