This is a hidden gem in seaside. We came with 10 people tonight. Everything was very tasty and cooked well. From fried calamari to beer salad to mozzarella caprese, mini crab cakes as apps. And entree was delicious. Seafood combo, lobster roll, fish and chips, lobster mac n cheese. It was all very good. So happy we came to eat here.

BJ’s was honestly a very subpar experience. My husband and I went there for dinner and initially the service was very slow, but the servers were very polite and they did a great job. The food, however was very bland very salty and our stuffed clams actually came out burned, like charred. We had fish and chips which ended up tasting crispy on the outside but the inside was slimy. Portions were also very small. We had the broiled seafood which ended up with three small scallops, three small shrimp and a tiny piece of fish. The rice that came with the broiled seafood was cold, and the veggies that came with it were undercooked. Maybe we went there on a bad day, but the experience was lacking to say the least. I end up leaving the restaurant feeling very ill. Can’t say id recommend this place or go back.

If I had only eaten the Lobster bisque the review would have been 5 stars. However I ordered the broiled seafood platter. Fish was over peppered. The vegetables were also covered in way to much black pepper and raw. I sent them back and they were still undercooked. Absolutely not worth the price.

when I went to get dinner, the attention was excellent. They apologized that my order was a little late. The food very tasty. Now that when I went to breakfast the next day the attention was different, the person who attended us was not the most attentive, she was more concerned about having fun with her classmates. We were not treated in the best way.

Good food but can not keep up with the crowds. Went in early the first day and had a wonderful time but this was earlier in the morning and not crowded at all. Since the first experience was pleasant we decided to try it again the second day. This is where the wheels fell off the bus. It was later in the morning and the place was packed. The service suffered tremendously and it was closer to an hour after we sat down before the food finally showed up. When traveling with a hungry child this is not the way to start the day. Hopefully the next trip to the area will yield a better result.

Came here on a Saturday around noon with my husband. We bought beer from the liquor store across the street because we read that it’s BYOB. Our server told us that the kitchen would need 10 minutes to be set up for lunch service. This was fine with us since it takes us that long to decide on what to order haha. We noticed people around us were eating toast and eggs so we assumed that the restaurant could only prepare breakfast until they could set up for lunch. We looked on Yelp and decided on lobster mac and cheese and the seafood paella. My huband also ordered the New England clam chowder. Everything was super scrumptious. My only complaint was that the clam chowder didn’t have that much clam in it. It was like digging for the little morsels of gold. The seafood paella had lots of seafood and just a little bit of rice, which I liked. There was a whole half lobster which was so sweet. The lobster mac and cheese we thought would be an appetizer but it was huge with lots of lobster. It was so good with tabasco sauce. We barely finished. The service was great. If we ever visit seaside heights again we’ll definitely come back.

Always a favorite! Quality food and service at a laid back location. The clams over linguini Bianco style is literally what I would ask to eat if I had to choose a last meal. After decades of eating in Seaside finally a place to get excited to go go to!

From the look of the place I must admit I wasn’t too sure about PJ’s but I’m so glad we tried it as the food here was amazing. It’s dry so you take your own beer or wine (liquor store right across the street) so that’s no problem. The service was relaxed but swift and professional. I had crab cakes followed by lobster risotto – both of which I’d highly recommend – no room for desert though!
