Came in a couple of times while I was at a conference, and was delighted to find out that I could bring my dog inside! It was a nice spot to do some work while eating a breakfast sandwich and having an iced coffee, and the staff were so sweet about bringing my dog some water as well.

Always a great experience here. I recommend the Velvet Ice. It’s so good I’ve actually dreamed of it. Shout-out to Ryan who makes them to perfection. The Cajun sandwich is also amazing. Highly recommend.

Nice Coffee Shoppe in downtown Baton Rouge. We got a praline and cream Latte. They have various coffees, teas, and pastries.

The server showed us great hospitality on today July 31 2021.
I would definitely recommend them.

Five star review! Whoever the young man was that took my order was great! He was very attentive and knowledgeable. Gave me just what I wanted! Best coffee I’ve gotten from a PJ’s!!!

No pic because I drank it too fast!☺️

Great location, understaffed and under utilised shop. Peach Green Tea was not made correctly and Ham & Cheese Croissant was good but nothing special. Hope this corner shop improves because it has great potential.

UPDATE!!! I decided to give this location another chance and I’m so happy I did. This morning everyone was pleasant – coffee was perfect!! I’m going to say the other day was an exception and not the norm!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Parking is the worse. First order in the morning cannot be picked up until 7:15 AM. I love other PJ’s locations, but this one had the most bitter tasting coffee. I love expresso – but this was super bitter. I wasted $8+. I couldn’t drink half of it.

Quick service, clean and organized store, and polite employees always go a long way with me! There was a sanitizing station at the door and employees were wearing masks so I felt comfortable. My caramel granita was amazing and so was the blueberry muffin! I’ll definitely go back!

PJ’s in downtown Baton Rouge was a sad and bad experience. At the door, I knew we should have turned around but didn’t because we set out looking specifically for a PJ’s. The shop was in disarray with chairs strewn about, unwiped counters and tables, finger-printed glass doors, and with scant offerings in the pastry case and slim coffee options. They didn’t even have New Orleans signature coffee with chicory. Worst of all, they used flimsy coffee cup tops which came flying off and spilled steaming coffee on us and everywhere. Not even a “too bad, so sad” from the server. All he said was that’s been happening all the time since corporate sent these new cheaper lids. Not to mention the prices were outrageous. Never again. Next time I’ll believe the reviews which already had given only 3.5 stars for this location, and that, like my two stars, was generous. You’ve been warned, choose someplace else — anyplace else.

Super nice location downtown Baton Rouge. Coffee selections are always unique and eats are made fresh daily and at a very affordable price. Great place to get out of the heat and enjoy a pleasant experience.
