I tried again today after a bad experience with my last order, and it’s still awful. I ordered the same frozen with 2 extra shots. It’s water, not frozen. No ice. Not even cool. I asked the staff and she said, Yes you ordered frozen and 2 extra short that’s why it looks like that.

I visited this place and ordered a king cake frozen with an extra pump of king cake, a turkey cheese and egg English muffin. When I received my coffee, it tasted terrible. I asked for a refund, and my experience there has never been bad since then. However, when I got my sandwich, it was cold. She said she had put it in the oven, but it was still cold. So, she asked to make a new one. When she gave it to me, she had an attitude.

I was in this coffee shop 3 times recently while visiting family in the area. The coffee drinks were good but the service was questionable. For instance, one day I waited 20 minutes for one latte and the place wasn’t very busy. Another day, my coffee came out pretty quickly but a male employee was telling stories to the others in the back and dropping lots of F-bombs so loudly that all the customers could hear him. Meanwhile an elderly man stood there patiently saying “hello”, trying to get their attention but to no avail. Something tells me that the manager does not have a grip on his staff. I won’t be going back again.

I have been here before, with no one in the drive through in front of us and it still took a much longer time than other shops. The coffee is just okay (and I say that as a native New Orleanian). It’s not my first choice coffee shop in the area, even though it is by far the closest to me. My latest visit, we left after nearly 25 minutes of sitting behind 1 car in front of us at the window in the drive through. Went to a farther shop who’s employees are knowledgeable, incredibly polite, and always fully staffed, to go through the line swiftly and efficiently. They cost less too. I think there are staffing and training issues at this PJ’s.

I was getting of of work on sunday back in January of 2026. The time online said it was open was 7am and I made around 7:20. I went to door to get in but it was lock. A young lady was in there but deck behind the counter as if she didn’t want the service a balck customer. But unlock the the door the door for a white female and white male customer. I shop here multiplied times and to be treated like this is so humiliating. Mind you I was still in work uniform so it was not like was causing a problem. It is 2026 people need to get over skin color and treat people with respect.

I was really impressed with this coffee shop! I ordered the iced matcha with vanilla syrup. I liked the quality of the drink. I really wanted to try the beignets but didn’t have time. I look forward to trying this coffee shop again! I love the New Orleans themed decor!

I was dashing and upon arrival it wasn’t ready not big deal cause it isn’t my food. So I’m waiting while the barista is making my food she chatting with her co worker I’m sure to make the day go by. Tell me why this lady is serving at the window and goes in the kitchen puts her bare hand in the small con conventional oven and starts making this lady order. The crazy part about is she’s making eye contact whilst burning her fingers. It already had a B grade. She’s a bit peculiar. She insisted on calling me baby when I gave her my number. Weird day
