Small cozy independently owned, not a franchise. I had the spicy egg bite, wow delicious. The beignet with powdered sugar were amazing warm.the king cake cofee was good..u can taste the cinnamon. Their vegan oatmeal cookie tastes like your grandma’s famous fresh baked cookies. It’s so good, you won’t even dare to think that it’s vegan, because it tastes delicious. However, the iced matcha latte needs room for improvement. Apparently, they scale their liquid amounts to the ounce size of the cup. So, if you request a drink with ice, your drink will be filled to the top of the cup. If you order your drink without ice, your drink will be filled to the amount size you ordered for. I ordered a iced matcha latte with light ice. That’s why the drink depicted looks like it’s half gone already. Honestly, I didn’t like that concept. Should they go by the ounce size ordered, then the liquid amount ordered should fill the cup up entirely. Not half way liquid and the other half unfilled.

opped by PJ Coffee and absolutely loved it! The Cuban sandwich was fantastic, perfectly toasted and full of flavor. And the coffee? Hands down the best one I’ve had so far. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and quick. If you’re anywhere nearby, you have to visit this place-you won’t be disappointed!

The staff was great, the location could use a good cleaning. The menu was typical of a coffee shop. They had mardi gras themed drinks, but no description of what it was flavor/taste wise. So unsure if it was just coloring or actually a flavored drink. Otherwise decent coffee stop.

Really lovely place to work or studydy and enjoy some food coffee. I was looking for a new cafe and so glad I found this gem. It was so clean in there and it even the bathroom was clean. I had the ice shaken expresso with oatmilk and praline flavor. I also got the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich not pictured. Everything was good and will definitely go back and try more stuff.

Hot latte with beignets anyone? After visiting my brother this early morning, I once again was on a quest to find a new “local” café/restaurant to support. Today my gem was PJ’s Coffee of New Orleans in Bowie, MD. What a pleasant surprise to see what was behind the cookie-cutter brick and mortar building. As I walked inside, I was greeted with rhymical-music softly playing, cozy N.O. décor, and a warm friendly-smile greeting by Tiara. Customer service is important to me and this place did not disappoint. Being new, Tiara took the time to address my questions and shared about their coffee and recommendations for they have a variety of drink creations. And just when I thought I was done ordering, she asked if I would like to try their beignets. Uh, yea.
My takeout order of drinks and beignets were hand delivered to me, so nice not to have my name or number called out. The hot latte with almond milk was delicious and the beignets were light and reminded me of my visit to New Orleans a few years back. I love their branding! Their cups are sturdy and environmentally conscious.
Another place that will no longer be a new to me because I will be back again.

I wanted to try this place for a little bit. I ordered a frozen lemonade, 3 beignets, and slice of king cake. The wait was too long. The young lady who is gathering all ordered items needs more counter space. The beignets were warm and good. Powder sugar everywhere!
