I have been married to Darlene for nearly 43 years and have been hearing (largely negative) stories about the Pool Hall and its hamburgers in Frostproof Florida for all of that time. I finally persuaded her cousin Ray to bring me here today. Had the house special double slaw burger with all the trimmings. Very good! Now I’ve been everywhere!

Amazing food! Excellent prices to match! Nice atmosphere. And most of the time great service. There is however a young short girl with blonde hair who stands around all the time on her phone or chatting/flirting while everyone else works and she watches expecting to get part of the tips. Which is another story the only person I have not seen secretly pocket tips is the younger tall guy. We’ve witnessed every other employee pocket the shared tips behind the others backs. Shame on you! Outside of the staff issues this is a great place to eat and have a drink!

Service was so horrible the girl who help me was so rude I had a complaint as a customer and she couldn’t of cared less she was not replacing my food and it was cold and covered in ketchup!! I asked to speak to a manager or owner and she wouldn’t get them !!

Service is sooo bad. The bartenders are downright rude. Came to play a small pool tournament. Takes 20 minutes to order the first round of drinks. If you aren’t a regular they won’t look at you. If you want to order another round you have to fight for the attention of the 5 bartenders who are in the corner all talking to each other. Hours online say they close at 10, bartenders are calling last for alcohol call at 9:05. At around 9:45 we were finishing up and they are rushing to kick us out. The chick actually said “if you were regular pool players and ordering drinks it would be different” ordering drinks?? You closed the bar 40 minutes ago an hour before posted close time. When I mentioned this to the bartender she rudely says “do we have a problem” are you kidding?? This bar could be really great but not until the service standards are addressed.

Went in at 10 pm they said grill was closed. Well we went for a burgers 2 hrs before they close and we could not get a burger. So we ordered wings which I did not enjoy. Why would the grill close at 10 on a Friday night. Don’t make since to me. Really not satisfied. I would have to say bad for business, when this is the place to get the world best slaw burgers. Maybe next time. I bet there were quite a few people disappointed the couldn’t get the famous slaw burger. If you close at 12 midnight the grill should be open until at least 11:40 pm

I go there every Friday. But this Saturday they were having a luau. Then after that closed for two weeks. So I went to the luau. It started at 8pm I got there at 6pm to hang with friends. The turn out was less then expected. So they announced that every body in the bar had to pay the cover charge of $5. I never been to a bar that had a band that started at 8pm or whatever and if you were there before hand they expected you to pay cover cost. You been there for hours spending money. Well they loss way more then the $5. I will never go back

My wife and I came in to eat thier great slaw burgers before we went to the Valentines dance on the street. As soon as we set down Seirra was right there to see what we needed. She did an awesome job. Always there to make sure we had what we needed. And her partner in crime Jordan helped out when she was busy. What a great experience. And btw the food is excellent.

I have been going for about 3 years now and have never had an issue here!! Staff is amazing and beer is always good and cold. Lori is great and also Jenn Hutto is THE GREATEST. Best place to grab some wings and a cold beer with the best service!
