Feels like a little piece of Naples, Italy

Reliable Quality and Incredible Allergy-Friendly Options!
I recently stopped by Pizzoli’s Pizzeria for a pepperoni pizza, and it did not disappoint. You can really taste the difference in their homemade sauce; it’s perfectly spiced with their in-house seasoning. Every slice was consistent with the high quality I’ve come to expect from their menu.
One of the biggest standouts for me is their vegan and allergy-friendly selection. My nephew has severe allergies to milk, soy, and nuts, so finding a safe spot is usually a challenge. Pizzoli’s uses Daiya cheese, which was delicious and gave us a great, healthy option that felt safe for him to eat.
A few tips for your visit:
The Pace: The staff is incredibly efficient. They move fast, so be ready to “get it and go.”
The Service: Despite how busy they are, the team is genuinely helpful and even offers table service.
The Exit: It’s a seamless experience—once you’re done, just leave your tip, say thanks, and head out!

This place is an absolute neighborhood gem. I live right nearby and keep coming back for the cheese calzone, which is massive, perfectly cheesy, and only $13. It’s easily enough for two meals, so I usually split it or save half for later. In DC, especially around Logan Circle, that’s an incredible deal.

Their desserts are also excellent, and while I tend to stick to my usual order, everything else on the menu that I’ve tried (and seen coming out of the kitchen) looks great. Consistently good food, great value, and always happy to support a local spot.

Exactly what you need for a pizza place that isn’t from a large chain. As someone from I’m New Jersey, you’re not always looking for a fine dining experience when craving pizza. You want a place that smells like semolina four and has sodas stocked in the fridge. Pizzoli’s has reliable service, the pizza is cheesy, has good sauce, and the crust tastes proper. I’ve never ordered anything else off the menu, but have frequented here multiple times for a good pie.

I hadn’t ordered from Pizzoli’s in years and I definitely missed them. The pizza is still good. It’s nothing fancy and no special ingredients which is nice. You get oily, greasy, and salty goodness which is what I love.

The pasta and hot Italian sandwich were not great. I’ll definitely order pizza again and I think I used to really like their wings. I can’t remember exactly, so I’ll have to order again.

If you’re looking for a good greasy pizza and not the fancy overpriced artisan stuff that doesn’t fill you up, go with pizzolis. It’s fast, filling, and priced incredibly well for the area.

This place is an absolute gem. The pizza is consistently delicious with the perfect crust-to-topping ratio, but the real standout for me is the calzones—hands down some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly baked, loaded with flavor, and clearly made with care.

And don’t even think about leaving without dessert. Their desserts are next-level and the perfect way to finish the meal—rich, fresh, and totally indulgent.

Amazing food, great quality, and a spot I’ll keep coming back to again and again. If you’re debating trying it, this is your sign.

I found myself hungry around midnight while traveling and found this gem. I ordered on their website and walked a couple blocks from my hotel to pick it up. It’s tucked mid-block in a residential neighborhood, kinda cool. They were busy! I got a pepperoni pizza and added Tomatoes. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my life and this was one of the best! Simple, quality ingredients, perfectly cooked.

Horrible experience!!! I ordered a ny w pepperoni, a they made me wait and did not add the pepperoni.
Disappointing. I only added one topping, and it wasn’t added to me order. They questioned me and made me wait even longer and laughed @ me for asking how long it would take due to the no pepperoni the first time!!!!! Would NOT recommend. Would never go again. There are plenty of other pizza places in dc you can enjoy(:! lol they also raised their voice @ me for asking how long it took for the pizza. I was hungry and had just gone out for reference.

My wife and I used to live a couple blocks away, and this was our go to pizza place. Despite moving, this is still our go to place. We are from Chicago, and the thin crust (cut in squares) is the closest you’ll find in DC to Chicago tavern style pizza. She is gluten free and is a big fan of their gluten free options like GF pizza and GF stuffed shells.

In the age of over the top chains charging far too much for basic pizza, this isnthe perfect neighborhood pizza place. The food is great, prices fair and its convenient. But, the owner was amazing and isnthe reason we will continue to go back. I wish you many more years of success!
