Pizzeria Violetta is hands down one of my go-to spots in West Oakland. I’m a regular here and almost always order the pepperoni pizza — the crust is perfect: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and full of flavor. While slices are available, I recommend ordering a full pizza.
Don’t sleep on the wings either — they’re consistently great. I usually ask for them well done and they come out perfect. Quality, consistency, and good vibes every time I come through. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

1/17/2026 5:20pm: Yummy pizza. I come here a lot. The man working at the counter at this time was repeating questions in a rude and aggressive tone before giving me a chance to answer. He stared at me with anger . He did a good job handing me my pizza, but he should be talked to about his behavior when interacting with customers.

Prescott market is a cool place in general. Haven’t tried all the food there but most looked great. Pizzeria Violetta however was fantastic. If you’re a big fan of the NY style thin crust you will love this place. It can be really busy so be willing to chill out and wait. Shouldn’t be a problem as there are several places to hang out and also plenty of options for drinks. If kids aren’t your thing (no judgement). You’re going to want to grab a pizza for take out. Chicken wings were also really good and they even have dessert pizzas which are delicious. Italian sandwich was great but if you aren’t going to eat it right away then you better tell them no oil. Great place, cool vibe and really great food.

I love grabbing a slice of Violetta at their Piedmont location before hitting up Kona Klub, so I’ve been very excited that they’re opening a location nearer to me. I went in during their soft opening inside the Prescott Market and got a Spring Mushroom slice. It was probably my favorite I’ve had of theirs. I love that their menu changes but I always know there’s going to be an option that will be good.
Very excited that they’ll have a full bar and also frozen tiki drinks here. That will be a nice compliment to the brewery next door. There is a decent amount of seating inside, way bigger than their Piedmont location, but there’s also lots of outdoor seating and central food hall seating.

Went to the soft opening and had a couple good slices. Delicious jalapeño mango frozen margarita too. Can’t wait to try the full menu!
