The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered a Moscow mule, red wine, cheese board and two pizzas. I stepped away from the bar to inform a waitress it was my girlfriends birthday. For dessert we had been brought a cannoli with a candle. Bartenders had been very friendly.

Had an AWESOME time at this Neapolitan pizza shop – we cane during dinner rush and while they didn’t have any available tables, we got seated at the pizza bar and couldn’t have been any happier with the circumstances! Not only did we love our pizzas, but got to watch the pros do their thing the entire time. Staff was super friendly and chatted us up while going about their pizza making. Pizza Bianca was super flavorful and the Ring of Fire was an awesome spicy upgrade of the usual marg pizza! I’ll be back in town in about 10 days and can’t wait to dine here again!

All the reviews are spot on. Pizza is tasty and there are a lot of interesting variations. I highly recommend the meatballs they too were very tasty with a great sauce. And we polished it off with some tiramisu which was not your typical but still very tasty. Special touch is the dried flowers in the bathroom and the friendly wonderful people.

My wife is from Bolzano, Italy and I lived there for 12 years. Every time we eat at Verita it feels like we are right back there…it is the real deal! Definitely pricey compared to what we are used to paying when back in Italy, but definitely worth it every once in a while, to give us that feeling of home!

We had the margherita pizzas for dinner and the Nutella pizza for dessert. The margherita pizza was a traditional doughy pizza. The tomato sauce was nice and fresh tasting. The Nutella pizza was cooked very well and nice and crispy edges, loaded with a lot of Nutella! No complaints here, I love Nutella. Overall nice little pizza spot, romantic spot for a dinner date.

I can’t say much more than all the other glowing reviews here. There’s a lot of good pizza in Burlington and somehow we hadn’t heard of Verita until now. When I hear pizzeria I don’t think lively datenite hotspot (more red n white checkered tablecloths, kids, possibly saw dust on floor– cause I’m old) but Pizzeria Verita was a trendy spot with atmospheric lighting, good drinks, and food. Service was attentive and quick and the charcuterie and cheese boards were thoughtfully assembled. The prices reflect the upscale, finer dinning. The pizza wasn’t my favorite in Burlington but tasty. Chewy crust, fresh toppings, a thin bottom that was a little too soft–couldn’t pick a piece up without two hands soft.

Incredibly happy here. Service was good, pizza was phenomenal, and the drinks were tasty. I was happy surprised to find that they have some more spirit forward cocktails. We had the bullet train to Tokyo (very ginger forward without being very sweet) and the Brooklyn to Burlington (a bit like a non sweet Manhattan).

Seriously some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. The crust was chewy and thin, so delicious. For the 5 of us we got 4 pies, the pepperoni, butternut squash, corn, and the mushroom truffle special. I don’t even have a favorite they were all fantastic. Also make sure you get the Nutella dessert.

The service was impeccable. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. The food was great. My gf and I had the beet salad then shared the pizza Diavola, and the Pizzarao. The crust was thin like other Napoletana places however it was fluffy which made every bite delightful. The tiramisu was moist, and flavorful. The crushed chocolate on top was a nice addition to the cocoa powder. If you’re going to Vermont, do yourself a favor, and get a reservation at this place. Oh, and if you get seated at the pizza bar you get to watch them prepare the pizzas. Lastly, the dim lighting makes this place cozy and romantic.
