Tried their new Detroit pan style pizza, it was excellent. Also had a small pesto pizza without olives and that too was very good, a bit greasy but I think that’s expected with Basil Pesto and they were generous with it.
Most surprised by the cheesesteak, normally prefer on seeded roll but this bread was very very good! Tremendous value getting a cheesesteak and fries (good ones at that) for $12.50 in the 2020s!
Forgot to mention, the Meatball Stromboli was AMAZING and rice balls advertised as the size of a baseball might be more like a softball they are HUGE! Should’ve taken pictures definitely need to go back.

Stop fooling around and get Pizzeria Pesto. Don’t be fooled by the “typical pizza place” menu; everything you get will be prepared with the freshest and homemade ingredients. My order below on a random Thursday night – chicken parm sandwich, Sicilian pepperoni pizza, and broccoli bites – my delivery driver made sure to tell me the bread was made that afternoon and the dough fresh that morning.
The little things count and Pesto nails every one. The sauce to dip the bites? Homemade and complimentary. The cheese on the sandwich? Little bit of paper stuck to it because it doesn’t have any chemicals or powders to prevent it from sticking. That’s a good thing.

I’ve ordered take out from here as well as stopped in to eat. The food is consistently fresh but I keep it simple, pizza’s, chicken parm etcetera. I did order a chicken cutlet with provolone and light spinach for delivery recently and was shocked that it was basically a spinach sandwich with a few chunks of chicken(the picture shows the spinach from just one half!). That’s the first time that they’ve ever made a mistake on my order so I’ll still order from here.

Their delivery service never disappoints and their prices are fair. Definitely worth it and recommend them.

Amazing pizza! Just ordered from Pesto’s after looking at other places downtown that were a little too pricey for my taste. The slices are HUGE! I ordered two (2) 16″ pies – Bianca Nieve and a custom sausage and onion. So much flavor! Definitely love supporting local businesses! Will definitely order again from these guys!

Excellent food. Wonderful fresh bread on their sandwiches. The proscuitto Parma sandwich is great and the penne vodka; but we haven’t been disappointed with anything yet. Also, always on time. Wonderful shop. Order through Slice (app) for great deals. Thanks Pizzaria Pesto!!!

Wow what a great find.. my wife and I where in S Philly visiting friends (ok the truth is my buddy picked up a bottle of Buffalo Trace for me and I used going to dinner in S Philly as an excuse).. on the way home we stopped by on his recommendation.. everything was great… next time we are trying their restaurant (guess I will have to buy another bottle of Buffalo Trace to make the trip)
