Bottom line up front: not worth the price.
The atmosphere is cool. The game room is neat and the place is clean. I didn’t love the pizza itself but it wasn’t bad, just slightly above average on my opinion.
What got me is the price. Not only are they charging effectively premium prices ($24 for a 12-inch pizza) but they automatically apply a 20% service charge. You are welcome to read the statement below about how it’s benefiting pay wages, blah, blah, blah. So $24 for a 12-inch pizza isn’t helping you pay them a living wage, but that extra 20% on my entire bill is? And then you have the temerity to suggest I can still tip above and beyond that??
No fault of our waiter, he was great. But what if he hadn’t been? Do I get to lower my 20%? I don’t think so.
Ultimately, I think these people mean well so I’m going to leave it at this; I personally choose not to support businesses with practices like these. You make up your own mind on whether or not you want to.
