Not sure how I missed reviewing this place since we’ve been coming here for years, even before they moved to this location. Excellent pizza and salads — they do other things, but honestly, why bother when the pizza is this good? Classic oven-fired pies with a nice char and crispy crust, always consistent. They give you a play card to mark your table when you order, and sodas are self-serve with a selection of oils for dipping right by the machine.
The drink special is worth it — buy one and get the other for pennies — and definitely join the rewards program. One of the few places that turns out the same top-quality pizza every single time.

We have been loving Marzano’s ever since it’s first opening back in the old location. The crust is the best. Better than Pepe’s New Haven. Love the 2nd drink nickel deal. Very creative and delicious combination of ingredients in every pie. Yummmmmm.

Excellent Find!! We both had the Neapolitan pie – fresh mozzarella with fresh tomatoes sauce! Crust was light and crispy. We will for sure be back! Although you order at the counter they bring your food to the table and fountain sodas are self serve. A very nice girl even checked to see how we were enjoying our pizza.

My husband and I are new to the area and grew up eating New Haven Apizza. We love the change up of this pizza. It’s a traditional Neapolitan style with excellent flavor in the dough and the toppings are always delicious. They don’t skimp on topping amounts either. The staff are all super friendly and all hard working. We usually go at their busiest times on Friday and Saturdays and the wait for a table is never long. The atmosphere is that of a local family pizza place. Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Absolutely fantastic pizza! Neapolitan but thin crust and not too much crust on the edge. The Tomaso, the Manhattan(or perhaps it was called the New York. I forget which) and the chicken with artichoke hearts were great. They also have a very good gluten-free crust. The kale Caesar was also excellent.

Incredible Pizza, but the service was overwhelming ⭐⭐⭐
I visited Marzano Pizza with some friends last weekend and I am honestly torn. On one hand, the restaurant is incredibly cozy and welcoming, and the food is world-class. As a huge pizza lover, I can honestly say the pizzas were some of the best I have ever had. If I were rating on food alone, this would be a 5-star review without question.
However, the service unfortunately ruined the experience for us. While the staff was friendly, they were far too attentive. We were asked if we needed anything every 5 minutes—even though it was obvious we were still clearly working on our food.
By the time we left, we had been interrupted more than 20 times. Instead of a relaxing meal with friends, it felt like we were being hovered over or rushed.
The Bottom Line: Go for the pizza, because it’s phenomenal, but be prepared for service that doesn’t quite know when to give you some space. I hope the management can coach the team on timing, because this place has the potential to be a local favorite.

Absolutely love Marzano’s!!! I’m from Cromwell and head up there for my son’s soccer ⚽️ practices on Thursdays. It’s my fourth visit and I have been delighted with each experience. The pizza is delicious and the service is exceptional. Thank you Marzanos for great Thursday evening dinners.
