Pizzeria GM is a really nice Italian restaurant in Homewood, Al. I visited with a group of friends and we tried many items on the menu. We got the Tequila Penne, Eggplant Parmesan, Italian Sausage (calzone), and the meat lovers calzone.
The food was really good and enjoyed by all, the Italian sausage calzone was a little greasy but nothing extreme.
Our waiter was extremely nice and as a slight hidden menu item, you can order the pizzas as calzones!!

We decided to eat outside on the patio. It started to rain hard and they had curtains so no one got wet. Big plus for that. We were a party of 7 and ordered a variety of food. We took the waitress suggestions on everything and nothing disappointed. We have the special pizza which had peaches on it and it was extremely good. My husband thought it was a little sweet but still enjoyed it. The large pizza feeds 2 to 3 people so plenty of food. We also ordered a dessert and it was definitely shareable.

Got the BBQ Chicken, and a slice of cheesecake to go. Staff was great, no issues. I was there shortly after opening so the wait wasn’t bad at all. Crust bubbles were on point and the pizza was otherwise really good, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the sauce used. Don’t get me wrong, it was yummy, but not 5 star yummy. Next time I’m in town I’ll try another option. The cheesecake was on point for sure, that was really good, though at $10/slice it better be!

Have wanted to try out Pizzeria G.M. for a while, but the wait was always too long when we went. Finally hit the swee spot at 5:30 on a Friday night. No wait at all! Very friendly staff, and an extensive covered patio complete with trees, rosebushes, heat lamps, and fans. There’s another patio on the other side, and a waiting porch by the entrance, too! Inside can be a bit noisy, fair warning.
Ordered a jungle bird cocktail, fried mozzarella bocconcini, calabrese pizza, and the peanut butter caramel gelato bomba. All were fantastic. The bocconcini were essentially bite-sized mozzarella sticks, and fried crisp but not too heavy. The pizza was perfectly cooked, great crust and delightful combination of fresh ingredients. The bomba came pre-sliced in half (unclear if standard or because we were splitting it).
Little pricy, but the quality supports that. ~$60 left us satisfied, but not stuffed. Can’t recommend highly enough, and we can’t wait to try more of what they have to offer!

This place has turned into our ‘go to’ for a nice meal. The pasta and pizzas are always perfect and the steaks are always delicious and prepared to perfection. All of the food is great but what is even better is the service. Tonight our server ‘Karson’ was anticipatory of our needs and super friendly. Can’t recommend enough.

Table of 8. No problem on a Saturday night. 4 kids and 4 adults catching up as Thanksgiving break. Great service, food and the ability to watch football. Food from prosciutto mozzarella, fresh chips, pizzas, lasagna, to jambalaya was fresh and flavorful. Local beers and wines were tasty!

Went here on Saturday for dinner. We arrived at 5:45 pm and it was already a 45 minute wait, which was accurate. We had to pay for parking across the street because their small parking lot was full. After waiting 45 minutes and being seated, we did wait a good bit before our waitress came to table. We ordered a variety of food. Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Parmesan Pizza, Meatball appetizer, Meat Lovers Calzone, Lasagna and a hamburger. All was very good and we would definitely go back. Prices are in line with similar styles of restaurants.
