Like so many others, I had heard about Pizzeria Bianco from the Netflix special.

I was in Phoenix for a work trip and I made this my first stop for dinner. It didn’t disappoint. It was a Tuesday evening and I walked right in and was seated at the bar.

Started off with the simple greens and they were great – it was a huge salad!

I had the Rosa pizza and it was delicious. Loved the mix of flavors with the pistachios and cheese.

It felt like I was in Italy again, but it had its own special taste. Received excellent service as well.

We split two white pies here — the Rosa and the Biancoverde — and while both are well-crafted, one clearly flexed harder.

The Biancoverde was the star. Creamy ricotta, a generous snowfall of mozzarella, and fresh arugula made every bite lush, savory, and perfectly balanced. The cheese-to-crust ratio was dialed in, letting Bianco’s legendary crust shine: blistered, airy, chewy, and just crisp enough to snap before yielding. This is a white pie done with confidence.

The Rosa leaned more restrained and minimalist. Parmigiano Reggiano, red onion, rosemary, and pistachio create a subtle, earthy profile — elegant, but compared to the Biancoverde, it felt quieter and less indulgent. Still good, just not the one I’d crave on the walk back to the car.

The space is charming but buzzing, set in a busy plaza next to Trader Joe’s with Whole Foods nearby — very Phoenix, very convenient, very alive.

Pro move: skip dessert here and swing by Trader Joe’s afterward. Let Bianco handle the pizza obsession; let TJ’s handle your sweet tooth.

Simple food done right. When you start with good ingredients, you get good food. We love the bread, greens and pizza at Pizzeria Bianco. You can eat it and still feel good.
Service is always good. Attentive and times perfectly.
Great seating indoors and out. There is also a bar area with seating.
Book ahead.

Such a beautiful little spot in a great setting! This cozy Italian pizza and pasta shop is tucked into a charming plaza with hanging lights and a big tree right in the center, it’s got such a nice atmosphere. The staff were super friendly, the food came out fast, and everything tasted amazing. It’s about as close as you can get to a fancy pizza place without the price tag. Definitely check it out for lunch or dinner, they serve glass-bottle Cokes and some of the best pasta you’ll ever have.

Was so excited to check out this highly regarded restaurant and it did not disappoint. Attentive friendly service, antipasto plate featuring vegetables treated with care, nice glass of lambrusco, and the amazing pizza of course. Wish I lived in town I’d be a regular.

Incredible pizza in a relaxed “diner” vibe. The prosciutto-wrapped fontina is to die for! Delicious skewers of gently melted cheese with tasty prosciutto and a touch of rosemary over a bed of arugula was heavenly. The house-made mozzarella is fresh and delicious with huge flavorful basil leaves. The “Rosa” Pizza is an artful combination of crushed pistachios and red onions with bold parmigiana flavor, with no tomato sauce to interest with the subtle flavors. Watch how this chef searched relentlessly for perfect ingredients in the Netflix “Chef’s Table Pizza” season 1 episode 1.

I don’t really understand the hype. It’s a decent enough pizza restaurant, and frankly I’ve had better. Our pizza was too thin in the middle so it was soggy to eat. The toppings were good, everything had nice flavor. The chocolate cookies were amazing. Again, a good pizza place, but it’s definitely not worth the hype, or waiting in line for.

Wood fired pizza done right but when it’s toppings heavy the pizza crust in the center is still not crusty

I will go back to try a Margherita as the baseline

Dough was tasty and the tomatoes were a bit sweet noting their NorCal source which is fine

VPN certified is fine but is based on San Marzano tomatoes and Italian flour BUT Blanco added his point of view to his pies

One of the best thin crust wood fired pizzas in Arizona

The apps and salads were delicious

As I told my friends and so many asking me what a pizzialo (trained) like me thinks and my response is ” you gotta go and enjoy it ” and you will be happy “

Such great pizzas! Came in a work trip, we shared the Rosa, Bianca Verde, and the Wiseguy. These are the white pizzas.
My favorite was the Wiseguy. The sweet onions complemented the savory sausage perfectly! The crust was flavorful and had just the right amount of crispy crunch.
My coworkers liked the Rosa. I’ve never had nuts on my pizza before, but the texture and flavor was surprisingly good! Sweet honey like taste on the great crust.
The Bianco Verde was very good. The arugula was piled high and provided great contrast to the cheeses!
The place had a fun rustic vibe and the employees were very friendly and responsive!
We loved this place and will come back on our next trip!

The atmosphere and the service were really good. I had heard awesome stuff about the pizza, and I was honestly a little disappointed. The pizza wasn’t as crispy as I expected from a brick oven and the flavors were good but I wasn’t wowed.
