Pizzeria Augusteo absolutely nailed it on the food. The bruschetta was life-changing — crunchy, garlicky perfection that deserves its own fan club. And the pizza? Unreal. Five-star, wood-fired greatness that reminds you why Naples is the birthplace of the stuff.
Then came the check. Let’s just say Naples has a reputation for pickpockets, but I wasn’t expecting to get mugged by math. They overcharged, which definitely took some of the shine off an otherwise perfect meal.
If you go, prepare for pizza nirvana — just count your euros like you’re at a blackjack table.

Been in Napoli for a week, tried a lot pizza places, but for good this is one of my favourites. Augusteo Pizzeria is a Classic and traditional place, great location, friendly staff.
I went two-three times and they recognised me and treated me super well. Prices are very good. Recommendation: Margherita and four cheeses, house red wine and large peroni beer. About the quality, the dough flavour is delicious, and the pomodoro sauce base on the pizza it’s just amazing.

We came there with a group of 8 people and had to wait 10 min. for a table but the owner and the staff were really accommodating. We had some great pizza that was really cheap and when we left all of the group were satisfied. We decided to just split and it came out 12€ for pizza and beers which is really fair in my opinion. Great place, nice owner and amazing prices for the center of Napoli. Would definitely recommend (I’m coming back on my next trip ).

Food was great. I had a lovely pizza. The manager was a lovely, kind, helpful man. Maybe I caught the other servers on a bad night. They weren’t even slightly friendly. But hey, they were professional. Unusual tbh in Naples. Lot’s of friendly people. But everything was fast and delicious. Great place. Go try. Great spot. Love the Sofia Loren photos ❤️
