Love the sourdough pizza crust, baked nicely by wood fire. The flavors are nicely done with their own profiles, harmonic but distinct taste of different ingredients.
We try both white and red sauce pizzas, personally I can’t choose which one I prefer. The two reds looked somewhat similar but they’re completely different. Not over compensated with excessive amount of cheese. Definitely one of the better pizzas in my humble list.

Before coming here I am so hyped up with the pizza’s!! I had reservations today and ordered the vokda roni and plain rossa pizza
And the ricotta fig – i thought there’s hot honey?? The fig jam so skimpy just not even a tablespoon. The foccacia felt burnt to my liking it’s not golden brown.
The pizza’s for me I had better ones. I thought this one is a sourdough based crust. The crust felt off. Sorry I am disappointed with the two pizza’s
I should have gone somewhere! Sorry I thought I would be in awe! But I came home dissapointed and hungry. It did not satisfy my pizza cravings. I felt the pizza dough was off this evening.

I’ve been on a pizza quest for the best pizza in New York and Philly for the past week and I think I found it right here. This place is awesome. The owners are obsessed with providing the highest quality pizza, appetizers, and entrées you can imagine. The hospitality is on point. Overall, you gotta give this place a try. It will change your life.

Nice neighborhood dining pkace with good italian meals and pizzas (and Red and White pies). I thought marinara sauce was way too thick; i would like it to be of a consistency that one could use it for dipping – their interpretation of it has it sitting on the pasta (rigatoni mezza in my meal).
Service was friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Arugula salad was very good with the lemon-vinergar dressing; they happily substituted dressings and made salad without cheese or croutons by request. They also were happy to prepare entre with some components withheld. They serve alcohol.
They accept reservations; we had reservations; therefore we didn’t have to wait for a table.
Other patrons appeared to be nice families; this doesn’t appear to be a teen hangout.
Seemed safe on streets nearby on walk from parking car and near the door of the restaurant.
Bathroom was clean.

This has turned into our new go to on passyunk ave!! Their vodka roni pizza is insanely delicious. I would HIGHLY suggest getting the calamari. It’s a twist on regular calamari and has a sweet chili dipping sauce. You won’t regret it.

Pizzata Pizza is absolutely incredible. The pizza is truly out of this world, especially the sausage and the plain pizzas, which are both executed perfectly. Beyond the food, the experience really shines thanks to Davide, the owner, who is an awesome guy and makes everyone feel genuinely welcome and appreciated the moment they walk in. You can feel the passion and care in everything they do here. If you haven’t been yet, you must go, this place is a gem on Passyunk Ave.

We were 6, we all had different dishes and one pizza as well. Kate, our server was terrific, she was personality plus. We will definitely be back!

A nice locally owned place to get out for a bite to eat. The Margherita pizza could’ve used more cheese to even out the sauce which by the end became kind of overwhelming. Although I left feeling disappointed despite the high marks in previous reviews, make no mistake that the pizza was still delicious. Washing it down with some authentic Italian Peroni Beer on tap was a bonus. Service was slow, as if they were overwhelmed with a Saturday evening crowd. Perhaps a hit or miss place between getting a very good pizza and a great pizza. Worth the stop if you’re in the area.

Almost once a week after I get sick of my work from home job where I answer phone calls all day and make good use of my mouse jiggler that I bought off of Amazon, I stopped in here for happy hour. I am obsessed with the meatballs. Sometimes I eat them there, sometimes I eat them at home. I like to buy store-bought pasta from Trader Joe’s and put the meatballs from this restaurant into that pasta. If I am sitting at the bar, there is a 50-50 chance I’m going to order the meatballs. The bartender Blaine recommended the meatballs the first time I went in there and I just have to get them now. The pizza is worth going for too, but I really haven’t tried the entire menu because I fill up on the meatballs and beer first.

Marrah’s wasn’t open yet so we decided to give Pizzata a try. The atmosphere was cozy, but basic and the staff was friendly enough. Maybe it was an off day, but the service was slow for a simple pizza order, taking about 40 min from sitting to receiving our food. The pizza caponata was tasty and definitely a cut above your typical pizzeria. The crust was very tasty and a bit thicker than what you get a Marrah’s, which will no doubt appeal to some. But that’s the problem, it’s a block away from Marrah’s, which in my opinion, has the superior pie. But it’s all subjective and I would recommend giving Pizzata a try.
