We ordered the spinach & cheese and mushroom deep pan style pizza.The crust was perfectly baked, the cheese was rich and comforting, and the spinach was fresh and flavorful—not soggy at all. I’ve been wanting to try Detroit-style pizza for years, and this place came highly recommended by locals. It’s conviently close to the airport hotel so we ordered delivery and it did not disappoint. We ordered the meat lovers and garlic cheesy bread and everything was amazing. Best deep dish pizza I’ve had. I especially loved the slight spice in the marinara sauce.

My son loves PizzaPapalis!!! We used the PizzaPapalis in Taylor’s private room for a dinner party after my son’s baptism. The staff: LJ, Emily and Mandy WERE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!! I cant say enough about how wonderful they were for our night!!!!From the very start they were so helpful! They allowed me to come in early and get things setup how I wanted and they helped us setup! EMILY, MANDY AND LH were friendly and attentive to the large group we had with us ALL NIGHT! The deep dish pizza and wings was and is ALWAYS A WINNER!!! Our guests loved it (old and young). PizzaPapalis always has the best pizza hands down. Deep dish takes 45 minutes to make but SO worth thr wait. We ordered seasoned fries and loaded them down with parmesan cheese to munch on while we waited. Very tasty!

I gave up on Pizza Papalis years ago but recently I noticed someone posted how much they enjoyed going to the taylor location. And then another person claiming the same. So I thought, hell why not? The place is big and nicely decorated. Although the pizza took 45min they were very clear about how. The food showed up and was delightful. Prices were ok. I like a sweeter sauce but that’s on me. The pizza is amazing!

We had such a wonderful experience at PizzaPapalís in Taylor! The food was absolutely delicious — from the garlic bread and pizza to the fresh Caesar salad, everything came out hot, flavorful, and perfectly made.
What truly made this visit stand out, though, was our server Emily. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. It’s such a refreshing feeling to have a server who actually makes you feel welcomed and valued, not rushed or overlooked. Emily checked on us at just the right times, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a warm, positive attitude the entire meal.
Great food plus exceptional service is a winning combination. Emily is a true asset to this location, and we will definitely be back because of her. Highly recommend!

I recently ordered the Papa meal, which included deep-dish pizza and whole bourbon wings. Unfortunately, the wings were burnt and excessively sauced. I also paid extra for an antipasto salad, but the meat components consisted of what appeared to be mushy ham and turkey lunch meat. This was the first time I have received food that was not palatable. I am hopeful that my next order will be more satisfactory.

I held my baby shower at this venue and had the most amazing service, hospitality, food, cleanliness, and welcome environment from the staff. The manager, Emily, was kind and professional through the entire reservation process down to checkout. She and her team were AMAZING. We were there 5 hours and they tendered to all 45-50 people that attended. I would gladly do it all over again and will recommend the next family to host an event here or just simply have dinner. Extremely grateful for this experience.

I stopped in yesterday to get some deep dish pizza and I was blown away! It was absolutely incredible. The small deep dish was enough to feed me (a regularly sized girl) for two meals. I also loved getting to chat with the woman working that day. She commented on my necklace and was just a very inviting face for the shop. Shout out to Emily lol. I definitely recommend this place. Good food and nice people.

I walked in with the idea to get a Detroit style pizza. They offered both Detroit style and Chicago deep dish. It was pretty quick to get my pizza and it was delicious. If I’m staying in the area I would go back again. The Detroit style was definitely more than enough for one person. It probably could have fed two to three. I did the build your own option because I wanted some veggies and meats on it. But overall it was a great experience. Fast service. The wine selection could be a little better.
