A very unassuming spot but so delish! Came for their Happy Hour specials. Ordered a couple appetizers and one main dish to share and it was plenty of food between my friend & I. Everything we had was on point with exception to the Carciofi Arrostiti (an artichoke dish). My friend said she’s had it before it was more flavorful. A a first timer on that dish I was kinda like ehh. Not sure I would order again but that could be more of not a big artichoke fan. Caprese di Bufala was so fresh and light, Polpette al Forno (meatballs with sauce & bread) , and Cavolfiore (Pandora crusted cauliflower) the best cauliflower I’ve ever had. A quite different take and the sauce that is comes with is so friggin’ yummy! And dont forget about generous squeeze of the lemon over everything. It adds a little something to each bite. Ordered the Pappardellle to share but we were sooo full we had 2 bites, which were heavenly, and took the rest home for leftovers. All in all very happy my friend introduced me to this place.

Pizzana on San Vicente is like the friend who always looks great in photos but never quite makes you say “wow” in person. The pizza’s solid — light crust, good sauce, fun specials — but it won’t change your life. It’s a chain now, so the vibe’s more “LA polished” than “hidden gem.” Still, it’s a reliable choice for a nice pizza night, just not the kind that leaves you dreaming about it later.

Great experience overall! The service was excellent from start to finish. Our table wasn’t ready right away because the guests before us took a bit longer, but the staff handled it perfectly and offered us free drinks while we waited, which we really showed how much they care. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and welcoming — honestly, they’re like actors with how warm and attentive they are. Another great touch is the open kitchen, so you can actually watch them making the pizzas, which makes the experience even better. Very professional, kind, and customer-focused. We felt taken care of the whole time. Definitely coming back!

Small long trendy restaurant on the nicer end for a pizza joint.
Their winter citrus salad was amazing.
Vegan mushroom and caramelized onion pizza delicious although the crust was a little doughy for a thin crust—I ordered it without sauce and added prosciutto.
Spinach basil pizza was very good but a little on the Rich and heavy side as to be expected, and the dough was a little doughy for a thin crust.
Service was super friendly but with some minor goofs and snafus.
The atmosphere is cozy and dimly lit but not so dark that you can’t see.
I’d come here again.

Our first time here. We got the Rucola salad, the Parpadelle alla Bolognese, the Funghi Pizza and the Neo Margherita Pizza.
Everything was outstanding, especially the Parpadelle and the Funghi Pizza. The dining room was comfortable. The server was helpful and pleasant.
We are definitely coming here regularly from now on!

We had the broccolini and fried cauliflower for appetizers, and three different pizzas. The appetizers tasted good. The pizzas are all pretty personal size – sliced into six, good for sharing as well. The pizzas were delectable and full of original flavor, it was warm and fresh. The wait for the pizzas was a bit long, but we had the appetizers beforehand. The pizzas are decent but the crusts were fairly burnt — hence the three stars, but if you don’t mind burnt pizza crust then it shouldn’t be a big problem! The burnt crust could also be because the oven was burnt before hand and not scraped before. The restaurant has a pleasing architecture to it and is very trendy. Good place to come for lunch and dinner!

It’s ok, small, uncomfortable and expensive for average pizza. Pizzana seems to do a little business for some reason that escapes me.
We won’t be back- but if a pizza place is missing from your rotation maybe you’ll find a reason to like it. The are many options in this part of town that I prefer.

Booth seats are black, and after eating dinner, when I got up and went outside, I saw that my light gray coat had numerous oil stains on it from my seat. The pizza was pretty good, definitely not the best Neapolitan-style pizza in LA. The crust was a little too chewy rather than soft and wet like a Margarita should be.

OMG guys you nailed it!!!! One of the best pizzerias I’ve ever been. The meatballs dish is a must try dish. Top notch quality. The flavour in everything was excellent. The pizza dough was extremely tasty and nice texture. CARNIVORO flavour was the best combination I’ve ever tried in pizza… I highly recommend this place

Tried Pizzana for the first time in Hollywood as we were visiting from OC for the day. we saw the place in istagram which claimed to have the best Pizza in LA and decided to give it a try. I was only me and my wifey for this dinner, and we stopped by their location around 5:30 to see if it is busy and whether we needed a reservation. They told us to better reserve a spot just in case. When we showed up an hour later, we were the only patrons, but by 8PM there were a couple of other parties that came in. The location is very small. You can see their kitchen from the street. The have about 3-4 tables inside right where the kitchen is visible and where all the take out hussle happens and about 10 tables of 2 outside in an alley that has been converted to an indoor seating area, which is super dark and I guess romantic? They have seat lamps and the roof is covered but not with a real roof but you are semi warm and if it is rainy there is no danger of getting wet. Their menu is fairly simple, and it is on a paper place mat. They have a few options for starters, 4 salad options, and about a dozen pizza options. We decided to try their brussel sprouts salad (18), Chopped salad (20) and their Neo Margherita Pizza (24). Salads came out fairly quickly. I was kinda disappointed by the size given the price, but they were both tasty. The Chopped salad is light and doesnt have too much salami or cheese which is the way I like. The brussel sprout salad is mostly lettuce with grated brussel sprouts on top but has yummy pistacchios and it was a big hit with my wife.
The star of the show was the Neo Margherita pizza that came out of the oven with just the right amount of chard on the crust. It is traditional nepotetan thin pizza which is really delicious. You can definitely taste the san manzano tomatoes and the fresh cheese (which they say it is imported from Italy – fior di latte)….really nice. It is a 12 inch pizza that come in 6 slices. Of course I had 4 slices and wifey had 2 LOL. If I had to pick on anything is that the crust may need a tad bit more salt and oil, as I really enjoy the crust especially the slightly chard ones, but this one was a bit too dry for me, so I have to transfer some of the sauce from the main slice on it to make it edible.
Overall great food, seems like most of their business is take out and delivery…
