Overall enjoy this family owned establishment tucked amongst other outlets. The wooden tables set the atmosphere one is hoping to find when enjoyed wood-fired pizza. While the orders came out correctly, if with a larger group, please be prepared to wait longer than you may anticipate, as the kitchen is simply meant more for a flow rather than a full restaurant. I was surprised that the chicken on the sandwich was a mixture of dark and white meat, as traditionally breast cuts are used. PizzAmoré is good for families, groups, couples, or a personal meal. Depending on your seat in the restaurant, a TV is visible for viewing the game. Plenty of parking is available, it just may not be directly in front of the restaurant.

Lovely dinner experience, turning a rainy Wednesday evening into a great impromptu date night. We were seated quickly and our server was polite and very courteous. Even my terrible humor didn’t shake his positive vibe. Wednesdays are live music nights but the volume is reasonable so you can still have a pleasant conversation across the table. We ordered wings and garlic bread, two pizzas and a dessert. Everything came out fresh and in reasonable time. Both the standard and gluten free crust had great texture and a light char from the wood fire. Toppings were plentiful and the flavor was great (recommend the mile high hot honey). The gluten free chocolate mouse cake was especially tasty and a great finish to our meal.

I ordered double cheese double pepperoni and double sausage. Take a look at the picture below. There wasn’t even regular cheese on the pizza it was all sauce. They don’t mind charging for the extras but don’t do anything to the pizza. We also ordered nachos and we had to put our own cheese on them because there was nothing on them. Not sure what’s going on there but they skimp on their products not happy about the quality of our order at all

Very expensive prices for extremely subpar food. I am so disappointed but cannot say I am surprised with how incredibly mediocre the food was. $20 for a pizza with a handful (if that, eleven to be exact) miniature pepperoni cups and six tiny pieces of thinly sliced green bell peppers is so sad — it wouldn’t be so crazy if the pizza was good but it was NOT good at all. Maybe it is the water in Colorado Springs, though… something is wrong with the dough in this town. My husband got the breakfast pizza and it was just as sad. The wings were soggy and mushy, not crispy at all. The caprese skewers were so teeny tiny and the fresh mozzarella was hard and chewy. I’ve never had hard fresh mozzarella before. The garlic bread was okay. The meatballs were lacking, I don’t feel like the meat was seasoned enough but maybe that is just me. The house salad was okay, but it would be insane if it was bad. Colorado Springs seems to really struggle in the food department, and I am saying this as someone who has traveled internationally and had to, unfortunately, move here from Houston — a city renowned for culinary excellence and international cuisine.

Ordered two pizzas with special instructions — both were missing it. I called the store on 10-9-2025 to explain to manager who clearly had no idea what to do, offered no alternatives, and said the general manager would handle it. I emailed as instructed, but never got a reply. It’s honestly shocking they can’t take responsibility for something so simple. Terrible service and zero accountability.

We were down in the Springs for a weekend trip and stopped here, not knowing much about the place. The shopping center’s parking was full. There are several places to eat there.
Once we found a spot and made our way in, PizzAmore was packed. We were told about a 45 minute wait for 2, but there was open seating at the bar. We chose to sit at the bar.
We were greeted by Julia. She was warm and friendly despite us watched her running around like crazy. She answered our questions with ease, took our drink and food orders.
We were warned the kitchen was running behind and it would take a while. Boy oh boy was it worth the wait. Our salads were fresh and delicious. The appetizer not only looked amazing but tasted as good as it looked.
My bride made a custom pizza. It came out looking awesome and tasting the same. The entire time Julia kept up with making sure we were good. We even watched her go to the pit and help make pizzas.
We watched Julia take the time to make everyone she was serving feel they were the most important. She worked her butt off, but you would never know it by her positive attitude. She is awesome!
The food was well worth the wait but Julia made the dinner that much better!
Thank you and when we make it back, we hope it is as good as this visit!

A group of us, five adults, had dinner. Two of us order pizza, which was perfectly cooked in their pizza oven, one had the meatballs, which were juicy and delicious, one had a chicken parm sandwich, very good, and one had soup, salad, and a meatball sub. Wine and the Italian Margaritas were really good. Service was great and friendly. The only issue we had was the temperature, it was freezing outside and their heating system was not keeping up. Overall, a really cozy little pizza place – highly recommend.
