I really want to like this pizza but I can’t. I understand teach his/ her own. This is far from what one could consider as thin crust pizza. No way. The dough was very chewy and not very tasty. I rarely put any pizza down but it is on the disappointing side. If I did not have a coupon I would have not bothered. The app was a bit clunky too and would not allow me to add the coupon. With 1 topping not close to being worth $25.

Warning: not GF safe.
We really wanted to like this place. We told the waiter that multiple members of our party had celiac, and even though it was clearly written on the ticket that there were gluten allergies , both my wife and father-in-law were given pasta that had gluten contact. We happened to see a piece of spaghetti in the bowl of GF pasta with broccoli halfway through eating it. It turns out the cooks blanched the broccoli in the normal pasta cooking water. They apologized, offered us a replacement (though at that point of the meal we didn’t accept), and took the pasta off the bill, but nothing else.
This is no joke. It is a serious, dangerous lack of care that can make people extremely sick. For example, my wife is now dealing with pressure hives thanks to the carelessness of the restaurant.
We know that a place like this cannot and does not guarantee freedom from cross-contamination—but this was a whole other level of negligence. Please train your staff on the importance of this.

My clients picked this restaurant for lunch, and the order was called in. I got the specialty turkey sandwich. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into a cute restaurant. The food wasn’t ready yet and waited for about 10 more minutes. I paid and left. When I ate the sandwich, it was very good. Inloved the bread it came on. I had a good experience.

This is a fine place with a beautiful atmosphere. The service it good, the interior design is almost perfect, and the food good. But my one big complaint is they claim to make brick oven pizza and it’s more like faux brick oven. First of all there is no break oven to speak of. It is actually a modern stainless steel oven in the shape of a brick oven and I believe it’s gas powered. That being said the pizza is definitely good but it’s really missing that natural flavor you get from a traditional brick oven set up. It tastes more like a standard American pie. On the bright side, the focaccia bread is pretty good and the Barata cheese is amazing.

First off, let it be known that I ABSOLUTELY HATE pepperoni pizza! However, the Hot Honey Pepperoni is TOO GOOD FOR WORDS! They don’t always have it, but when they do I can’t leave without getting a slice, regardless what else I’m having. I’ve been working my way down the menu and there hasn’t been a single meal that I would not have again. If you are a Broccoli Rabe connoisseur, they do it the right way (with a little bitterness). Just like the way my family does it in Naples Italy. Staff is super friendly. Everything is clean and spotless. Covered outside dining is great when it’s not too hot or cold to be outdoors. I’m happy I’m local to this place because I would be burning through a lot of fuel if they weren’t.

Nice selection of Italian food. Had the prosciutto salad with grilled chicken which was nicely prepared and tasty. Service could be more attentive. The pizza never disappoints. Overall a consistent local place.

Chef has some mainstay recipes like his short ribs on risotto, papadrelle or other pasta. Sauce is delicious as is the meat. Go for just these recipes! Spaghetti in clam sauce also perfect. Kudos for getting these and others right. A hidden jem and reasonable too. Staff is young but on the ball with a few veterans watching over the rotation. BYOB and be happy they are there. So many other Italian restaurants are just so so or mediocre and sure, they miss some details, but when it comes to staff and food, just go and enjoy in an informal familial atmosphere.

This is the first time in my life my family and I went through something like this. My family and I yesterday went to celebrate my daughter’s accomplishment singing at the Hispanic Heritage Festival. So we went to eat at Pizzaiolo at Midland Park. We invited my mom and told her that this place has good pizza and that we have eaten here before. So when we entered the restaurant the spanish waitress sat us down in the dining room area. She already handed us the menus and as we were already seated and settled someone came to the waitress and told her that we couldn’t be sitted there because that table was reserved. The waitress seemed very confused and told her in Spanish ” what dobyou mean its reserved? This lady continues to tell her that we shouldn’t be sitting there and the waitress again seemed very confused. This restaurant was completely empty and there were no reserved signs up. 2 more waitresses arrived and took our menu’s from us and didn’t even attempt to sit us anywhere else and the only thing she said in Spanish was “im sorry”. So, we left. This made us very uncomfortable and upset, so my other daughter made a tiktok reviewing this place. It was getting lots of attention when suddenly she was banned. Almost like she was silenced because she made a honest bad review. This whole situation was very uncomfortable and I wouldnt recommend eating here.
