Delicious pizza, especially the Detroit style. BYOB… there is a liquor store across the street so you can get your wine on too. Also had a private event area. Moderately priced. Paid street parking @ 2.50/hr if you can find a spot. Nice selection of ice cream/ gelato too.

Pizza Boy Chicago truly exceeded expectations. The quality of the ingredients stands out immediately — perfectly baked crust, balanced sauce, and outstanding flavor in every bite. You can tell everything is prepared with care and attention to detail.
The service was professional, friendly, and efficient, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. What makes the experience even better is Carlo, the owner. He’s a phenomenal guy — genuine, hands-on, and clearly passionate about what he does. That kind of leadership shows in the food and overall experience.
Consistent quality, great service, and a great owner behind it all. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Pizza Boy Chicago to others.

Had high hopes based on reviews.
No free parking here. No pay box found for the outside parking.
Food was OK, but the pizza slice had a huge bubble so no topping on half of the slice. Detroit style pizza is stupid expensive here. $36 for a 14″X10″?
Ordered a 10″ pizza, a separate slice, and a salad with cups for drinks since they are self service. Had to ask again for cups when the food arrived, as they still were not brought. Butter knife provided would not cut through the pizza crust. Had to ask for a plate to eat the pizza since all 4 plates on the table were removed when we ordered? Dining room was very cold, everyone had to keep their coats on. Service was very spotty for everyone, since only 1 person to handle the dining room, & carry outs. We arrived before 5 pm but by the time we left, she was trying to handle 22 people by her self. At least she was friendly.
In summary I see no reason to deal with this again, for overrated food.

We wanted to try a new pizza place and were pleasantly surprised by the portions and quality of the food!
We got the Edison Park Deluxe thin crust pizza, breaded mushrooms and garlic bread.
The pizza was oh-so-cheesy! And juicy! Breaded mushrooms – portion size was really good, well-cooked and seasoned well. Garlic bread – nice and light and very garlicky – yum!!! The only thing was service. She was really nice but they should staff one more person up front, we kept having to go to the counter to get her attention with no success because she was so busy helping out takeout orders and ringing them up (totally not her fault). Can someone help her please? So that people who are dining are served quickly, especially when they might also be on a time crunch to eat and go.

I ordered deluxe and wings with boom boom sauce.
Pizza was great, well contained and generous toppings. I mean it was so good, I actually want to eat at the restaurant next time, so I can eat it right away.
The wing was also great, I have no idea whats in boom boom sauce but the size of the wing and flavor and top notch.
Will order again or visit the store next time.

Exceptional service from our server jojo! The owner was also amazing, great food, good atmosphere. We came here to watch the bears game against the packers and all of the staff and us celebrated together when we defeated them! I’m back here again to watch the game! Def recommend coming here! ⬇️

The pizza here is the best pizza I’ve ever had! We drove 4.5 hours just to grab a couple of pizzas from the one and only PizzaBoy and let me say it was worth every mile traveled! We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The girl that took our order at the counter was very friendly. When the pizza came out to the table, it looked so delicious we couldn’t wait to try it! Talking to Carlo and Cristina was an added special bonus to us. My girls were over the moon happy to meet them. We will definitely travel back just for the amazing pizza!! Thank you PizzaBoy for an amazing memorable experience!!

Finally got a chance to check out this place. Walked in… got punched in the face with the stench of dirty mop water. Then seen this cool looking girl behind the counter with piercings and tattoos. Too bad she didn’t want anything to do with us. We waited to be acknowledged. Crazy thing is we walked passed her and she was too busy on the phone. Then she rather make boxes and twiddle her thumbs than a wait on one table. After 15 mins we got up to leave. Having to walk passed her again she asks “oh you guys ready to order” I just responded “nope waited long enough”
Would have love to try the food but I don’t think I’ll ever go in there again.
We went a few doors down and got snappy dogs!! Probably the best hot dog I’ve ever had!!! The guy there was awesome!!!!!
