Okay pizza, made to order. The staff are super friendly so I would go back and try other things, just not a fan of the pizza. The toppings were fresh, just not a lot, the sauce is not my favorite. I doctored it up at home with garlic powder and oregano so it was decent.
This place was SUPER clean and can’t say enough about how nice the staff were.

Ordered pizzas on line. Went to pick them up and the girl working there told me it would be hours to get my pizzas because they ran out of dough. Requested my money back, got a receipt showing order was cancelled. Few days later my bank statement showed they took my money. They did not cancel the transaction. Went to the store to let them know. They said they couldn’t give me a refund because there computer was down. I asked for store credit, they didn’t have any gift cards so the guy wrote it on my receipt for store credit. Went there several times to use credit, they were closed when they should have been opened. Never answer their phone.

Excellent pizza. Worth the slight price difference especially if you order from their coupons. Incomparable to “fast pizza” shops like Domino’s and Pizza Hut – this place is a restaurant that also happens to deliver – Pizza World sets the standard for quality pies in Farmville. Get their 25% off online deal to make it more affordable.

While more expensive than Domino’s or Papa John’s their gluten free pizza was clearly handcrafted and looked exquisite. The taste was even more marvelous. A twenty three minute delivery time is quite good considering that their restaurant is located on an entirely different side of Farmville from where I live. Downsides? The 12 inch gluten free really is about a 10 inch. It didn’t bother me so much because it helped me hit my calorie numbers but it might be an issue to some people. One of my vegetable pizza toppings was missing. The pizza was still extraordinary. I’ll order again but I hope they put more coupons on medium pizzas as well as the largest. They also ought to come up with some sort of frequent customer point system to help them outdo the three chains.

This is an artisan style pizzeria, with fresh ingredients and friendly staff. We tried 2 different pizzas, the Appondanza® Signature Pizza on hand tossed crust and Spicy Thai on a thin crust. The hand tossed crust had excellent flavor, good consistency, and not too much left uncovered on the edges. The thin crust was cooked to a good crisp, without being over-cooked. All of the toppings were very fresh in flavor and we thought it was excellent.
This is not fast food, so if you are planning to rush through before a movie, it won’t work out. They offer a lot of coupons and discounts, like online ordering and periodic specials. Pizza prices are in line with other gourmet pizzerias, but the coupons/discounts bring it more in line with standard pizza establishments.
We enjoyed it and will be back to try more from the menu.

There was only one person in the shop running the whole place. He was amazing! There were 8 of us and we only waited for about 20 mins total for all of our individual orders. If he doesn’t own the place than the owners need to do whatever possible to keep him. Food was hot and fresh.

We stopped by Pizza World on a whim while passing through Farmville and we were not disappointed. We had the place to ourselves which was nice. The service was great and the pizza was outstanding. We are definitely keeping Pizza World on our short list and we’ll definitely be back the next time we find ourselves in Farmville.

We had a great experience with Pizza World last night (Sept 14th). Third Street Brewing ordered 20 pies from the restaurant for hungry customers during our “Hurricane Watch Party.” Prices were excellent, deliveries were punctual, and the pizza was delicious.

Excellent pizza, surprised Papa John’s stayed in business as long as it did. 1st pizza I’ve had out here that has plenty of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Won’t be back to Pizza Hut or Domino’s. Dan, my hat is off to you. Glad you had a stoppage and called Davis & Sons. Keep up the good pizza work. PIZZA WORLD !
