The best thing about their pizza is the crust! If you like thin crust pizza with unique toppings this is the place.

Full service bar with signature cocktails. I had a glass of their chardonnay and it was pretty good.

Customer service was attentive and friendly.

Lots of open space in the inside dining area, with some patio seating outside. (Great little spot to people watch.) I believe dogs are allowed on the patio as well.

A great addition to the sugar house area.

Awesome location in the heart of sugar house. We got the Chew-Baca and the Truffle Shuffle gluten free pizzas. The crust of the pizzas was one of the better gluten free crusts we’ve eaten. Both pizzas desperately needed a sauce as both were very, very dry. The flavors were pretty good, but the biggest reason for 3-stars was the price. 2 pizzas and ice waters was almost $60.

Been here a few times now. The service has always been great; the managers Paul and Joey came over and introduced themselves, and the servers were really attentive. The pizza options were really impressive and tasted great, you can also customize your options. The beer selection between draft and bottles and cans was awesome. A really great local and regional selection that should work for any beer drinker. They also had a selection of fancy cocktails that were really unique. I appreciated the pun-ny names for the pizzas and cocktails. I’ll definitely be a regular here.

4.8/5 stars. The Chewbacca pizza (arugula, bacon, and honey) was amazing! We also tried the Squasha-Fierce (butternut squash and goat cheese) and Italian Sausage. Everyone agreed that the Chewbacca was the best but they were all really great! It’s a lot of unique flavors you won’t find in other pizza places. We also tried the prezta which is just a garlic roll with marinara sauce and it was also really good. It was pretty good pricing for what you’re getting. Definitely worth another visit!

Good pizza. Started with the Hummus platter. Delicious. For the pizza we had the meatball pizza and added pepperoni. Flavors an seasoning was great. A large fed 3 of us. Nice area for an evening walk. I have been to a lot of pizza places around the country and I would put this in the top ten.

First time here! Super thin crust pizza, good flavors! I got the Drivin’ Me Caprese and the Balsamic Reduction was a nice touch!! Service was amazing but the best part was their old fashioned cocktail. Maybe I just really needed a drink that day, but it was a yummy and well balanced cocktail. Will be back!!

Overrated reviews! Another average pizza place @Sugarhouse. Lack of customer service, huge dining area without taste, at least you want to see brick oven pizza but middle of the Sunday, empty tables with 12 employees chatting and running around with nonsense. Another big investment without marketing, feasibility planning and no ownership. That’s really sad because Sugarhouse needs proper dining places and cafes but Pizza Volta just another disappointment!

Now open!!!! Great ambiance. The pizza and salads are amazing. They recently open so they seat the last person at 9pm, but the kitchen closes when that person is done. Food is prepared fresh and you can see them make your pizza. Very big space so plenty of seating. Highly recommend.

I came on a Monday afternoon, and the vibe was chill and relaxing. The staff was friendly, engaging, and also respectful of my interest for some privacy.

The restaurant is clean and has a lot of open space and natural lighting. From time to time, they even have events (game night, etc).

I tried the calzone with the marinara sauce as well as some of their pesto. I was so impressed with the pesto, when I sent compliments to the chef — I learned it is made from scratch (as is most everything they could make from scratch).

The food has a lot of flavor to it and ended up being something I wanted to eat slowly and enjoy.

Five stars isn’t high enough for what I stumbled across when I came here.

If you’re on the fence and debating it — my advice is to give it a shot!

This is a really large space! Pizza was good, but if you’re a ranch lover like me, it is bring your own ranch. Which I did not know until I got there. We got a few pizzas to share and had leftovers. The owner is very attentive and active throughout the restaurant which is always nice. 🙂
