Ordered the wings combo meal, when I ordered I let them know I didn’t want any celery and would like it replaced with carrots and they gave me a generous amount of carrots ! The wings were one of the best wings I’ve eaten so far, they weren’t too soggy or weirdly textured . I also tried their chicken Parmesan and it was really a good treat to share with friends , the only issue is that if you don’t eat it right away the breaded layer will peel off since its been soaking in sauce for a while. Overall great food and pizza!

I was doing doordash when I found out about this place. I’m always leaving East Orange to explore other areas, So it surprised me to see I’ve never heard of it. This place makes the best bruschetta pizza and chicken parm rolls. Everytime I stop here, I cant skip over the Bruschetta, because its really to die for. Im part italian, so it hits the spot like a proper pizza, vs other italian joints that make theres a tad sweet vs savory. The environment and the people are very nice, and it has like a family, cozy home feel. Warning tho, it can get a little busy between school and rush hour. But its always been pleasant.

Would make it zero stars if possible can’t so it’s a 1 star. But horrible service . came in with family , my wife while placing order was being corrected by some other guy behind the counter on what she was saying . ”Gyro” is what she said . guy was saying something nowhere near that. Then after placing order we proceeded to take our seats. 25 minutes roll by and nothing . One of the girls from behind the counter came by after dropping someone’s order off who was there way after us and asks us was everything ok? we told her the length of time we were waiting and she wrote down our order to see what happened. she excuses herself and comes back a few minutes later with our stuff . While we’re preparing to eat our order , the original order taker comes to the table and says verbatim “ you guys cannot drink your drink here . “ 2L Diet Coke” and he walks away. We were confused as to why he said that as it is something we purchased at their establishment. Luckily we also had a few canned sodas which were also the wrong type when we initially placed the order. my wife goes ahead and takes one of the sodas and asks to switch it for the correct one. The girl who helped us was going to give us cups but the guy was right next to her so my wife told her no as to not get her in trouble. Food arrived cold and wrong. Gyro was supposed to be a chicken one. ended up with the lamb. Short to say this will be the last time we come to this place .
Came with my family because of convenience but left with pure disappointment and dissatisfaction.

Philly Cheesesteak w/ fries (was DRY)

This review is strictly to speak about card transactions. This pizzeria charges a surcharge for using card. However, these fees only apply to credit cards by law. It is illegal to add a surcharge to debit cards. I have found that this place will charge debit cards as credit which doesn’t require a PIN and a surcharge will be applied. This is a loophole. If anyone uses a debit card please be sure to input your PIN number and do not allow them to run your debit card as credit, to avoid a surcharge. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Otherwise the pizza is top notch!

Have $5 and hungry? That’s all you need for 2 plain slices and a soda. They have a ton of specials all day everyday. Today I had a plain slice and a sliced top with Italian sausage. Although the Italian sausage slice was good the plain slice was better to me. Really good flavor especially when you can get two slices and a soda for five dollars on a scale of one to 10 I would say this pizza comes in at a 7.1. Definitely very floppy without any crisp to the bite. That is the biggest area for improvement on this pizza. I will tell you, though you will not be disappointed with this $5 all day special.

BEST LOCATION FOR PIZZA!!!I always come here w the family when we don’t wanna cook and just enjoy a slice of pizza or wings and their pizza is always fresh, their pasta is a good amount and delicious. They bring your food to your table nice and fresh with a warm smile and the staff provides a good performance! Definitely check this place out when you have the chance and their prices are fair for a quick pizza slice. This shall be my favorite pizzeria in the area!!!

This was always my go to spot. Went there last night for pizza and wings and everything had changed. The sauce on the pizza was so dry and red it wasn’t edible and the bbq sauce they use now is very tangy watery and cheap, the ranch dressing is even a cheaper product. And yes I do understand the price of things have gone up but consistency is key at all times. Their prices are still very good. They give you a very big pie and an order of wings is 12 where other places are eight or six. The staff there are all the same and they are all amazing but they he quality of the food products are going down hill

The other night I ordered, Pizza Village Cafe #2, for dinner, and man was it a treat! I had ordered their Fettuccine Alfredo w/ Shrimp & Broccoli. I really was not expecting it to be good, but at least decent. But it really was phenomenal. Everything tasted really fresh and authentic for it to be delivery! The Alfredo sauce had excellent flavor, really no needing to season it up a bit, at all. The noodles were cooked al dente. Excellent ratio of shrimp to broccoli. The amount of broccoli they give you is extremely well balanced with the amount of shrimp you get! The food also arrived in an orderly fashion, and came piping hot! Much praise to them, because not many places can pull off a great Alfredo. It was a bit pricey ~$25, but well worth it. Would love to try their other menu items, and I would highly recommend, Pizza Village Cafe #2, to anyone in the Newark/Belleville area looking for quality food.
