Pizza Village

I have always enjoyed the great dinners and catering from Pizza Village. The food is good and the catering has never been a disappointment. This year was different. The food was still good, but the lasagna looked very different. It had been plated on the full tray. By that, I mean the lasagna had already been cut into small pieces and there was a lot of room around every piece. This did not appear to me to be the full tray I had purchased. It was a half tray spread out. For the first time in my life, it was every Italian’s nightmare. There was not enough lasagna. To add insult to injury, I paid 26.00 for a small veggie pie for one guest. It was not edible. All of this I could forgive with some quality customer service. I called the restaurant and the owner. I left a message. I have heard from no one. That is what I cannot get past. I will not use their catering service again. When it cones to customer care, I am one and done.

Few different slices and rolls for takeout, everything was really dry & it kinda grossed me out that the counter girl used her bare hands grabbing everything from the display. Chicken roll was inedible, weird color and soggy cutlet. Didn’t know the pepperoni rolls came without cheese, meh. 2 slices, chicken roll & 3 mini pepperoni roll $28 seems wild for that quality.

This place was great. I went there in January 2021 and the staff were very friendly and polite and always greeted the customers whether they entered or left the place. Ordered garlic knots and a meatball sub and it was very good. The food was overall delicious. Garlic knots were nice and fresh and so was the meatball sub. If anyone happens to go on outing nearby and looking for a place to eat, then I highly suggest you go there because the staff are very polite and friendly.

I just order takeout. Large specialty pizza is about $25 but lasts 3 meals for me and 4-5 for my mom. High quality ingredients and not skimped.

I got the eggplant parm. It was delicious!
I don’t get out to this area much and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the service and food. The lighting and music volume were just right as well. They offered me a box without me even asking. 5 stars!

Pizza Village needs to update their online ordering. There is no place for any comments nor anywhere to indicate that the entree should be over pasta. Ours came for shrimp scampi with a side of angel hair with red sauce all over it. It ruined the meal.

If I could give less of a star I would. I’ve come here religious and always loved the crispy chicken salad. I decided to come tonight for dinner, we got there to have cold crispy chicken that looked discolored, was hard and tasted funny. Then the lettuce was discolored and almost looked molded. I said something to the staff and appalled by the owners response since he told me it was fresh chicken made daily and the lettuce as well. As I proceeded to walk out the owner said never see you again. I will never ever give this place my money again complete mistake they are rude and nasty and can’t even hear because they all have AirPods in their ears it all makes sense now every-time you call they never hear the right thing in the first place.

We come here often for dinner after our activities. The staff is always very friendly and helpful they accommodate us for any size group we have and it’s always a lot of young kids. The food is excellent and we appreciate them for helping us out with dinner.
