Went here for a dinner date with the family (2 of us and our 3 year old). We enjoyed playing with him down by the game area. We enjoyed the delicious food and him taking turns between his pasta and the games.

We ordered from here for the first time today, I grew up on Chicago pizza and think Chicago has the best pizza anywhere. I have heard so much about Villa Pizza, we live in Sycamore so its a little bit of a drive, but we gave it a try today, I ordered on line and it was very easy and allows to pay upon pick up, We ordered the pan pizza the Villa special, sausage, mushroom, green peppers and onion. It was a little too much bread for me, and it was over cooked, The cheese and sauce were good, and the ingredients were fresh, just a little over cooked for my liking. We also had a half order of spaghetti. The size and price were perfect, the spaghetti itself was just ok, nothing special. We did a pick up, but as I waited for the food I took a look around the restaurant, it appeared to be clean and the staff were fast and friendly. We will give the thin crust pizza a try soon.

Been going here since 1975. All time favorite pizza. I get thin crust. Edges are crispy. Great sausage and veggies. Very cool vibe in the building. When you go look for the clown that does flips.

I’m poor I had 22 dollars left and most the food in town isn’t worth it, I gave this place A try I got the chicken Parmesan. The chicken Parmesan wasn’t a cutlet. It was a patty. I got pasta with some sauce it had a funny smell so I didn’t trust it, garlic bread which was so small It was the size of a hotdog bun, $22 was supposed to feed me today and tomorrow, I guess I will starve today.

Great pizza and very unique I must admit but overpriced let alone for Dekalb. Two veggie toppings X-large and $40 is pretty pricey especially for not being in a major city. It’s good though just need to be a bit more practical pricing wise. But as owner replied life is expensive so support local they are worth it! Ambience is warm and cozy too and very family friendly.

Pizza Villa in DeKalb delivers a classic, satisfying pizza experience, highlighted by their commitment to fresh ingredients.
Pizza Villa Special: “This Dekalb favorite comes loaded with our home seasoned Italian sausage, mushroom, green pepper and onion.” I added pepperoni and it did not overwhelm the dish.
This sausage, mushroom, onion, bell pepper, and pepperoni pizza is a standout, with each topping bringing bold, distinct flavor. The real star is the fresh mushrooms—earthy, tender, and noticeably superior to the canned variety you’ll find elsewhere. Combined with perfectly seasoned sausage and crisp bell peppers, it’s a balanced, flavorful bite every time.
I also added the perfectly crispy potato wedges (do yourself a favor and sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on them generously while they are hot) and a good old fashioned Root Beer Float. I felt like I was in a different era.

My daughter was having the WORST week. She stopped in here and ordered for her and her children. They let her know the kids would eat for free tonight because it was Thursday. The workers had no clue what she was going through but it was such a blessing for her. The food was delish and everyone very kind. Now I personally can’t

We ordered ahead to save time, even though we were eating here. Needn’t have bothered; still waited for the food preparation. Oh well….
Very good food. Haven’t dined-in here since pre-pandemic.
The 5-cheese lasagna was delicious. Taco salad had lots of olives i.l.o. the spurned jalapeños. It was “fine” according to my dinner companion. She loved the breaded/fried mushrooms appetizer. The cinnamon nuggets were tasty, but needed more cinnamon/sugar. Basically fried bread pieces (but again, tasty). I’ll augment the plentiful leftover pieces when we eat them back home. Didn’t try the pizza this time.
All in all, a pleasant experience with an attentive server and appetizing comestibles. We’ll be back when driving by Dekalb again in the future. This is much better than the standard fare at the tollway oasis outside of town.
