My wife and I love trying new things, especially new flavors from around the world. So when I saw that the Elite Experience being offered was for a brand-new Mexican/Indian fusion restaurant that serves hamburgers, pizzas, and desserts, I was definitely excited to see what they had to offer.
The first thing I noticed when we arrived at Pizza Twist in Oakwood was the bright colors throughout the restaurant, which made it feel very welcoming. They had a good amount of seating for dine-in, which is always a plus, and they also had a bar area with seating as well.
The lady who took our order was very friendly and explained what was included as part of our Elite Experience, which allowed us to choose either a Pizza Twist pizza or one of their specialty burgers. We decided to create our own Pizza Twist pizza. It had a butter sauce and was topped with tandoori chicken and spinach. Unfortunately, they forgot the spinach, which was supposed to be our free topping, and we had to pay $2.59 for the chicken. That was kind of annoying, but we didn’t bring it up to management because we didn’t realize it until after we left.
After placing our order, we took our seats and tried one of their desserts, a gulab jamun–topped cheesecake. It tasted amazing and reminded me of tres leches.
Our pizza was brought to the table on a serving tray, which made for a very nice presentation. The pizza itself was really tasty, with a tangy and sweet flavor that I thought paired well together. My wife felt it was a bit too spicy, although she still ate it because she was really hungry.
They also offer wings, hamburgers, pasta, and several different types of pizzas, so the menu has a great selection. Overall, the entire experience was great—the food had great flavor, the portions were good, and the customer service was great. If you’re looking for a place with bold flavors and good-tasting food, I would definitely recommend Pizza Twist.

First time visiting Pizza Twist and it was a great experience! The dining area was clean, service was good except that they are very slow.. we waited for about 35 minutes for our order, and the pizza was delicious. We ordered the Paneer Tikka pizza and it was really flavorful. Will definitely be back!

A unique twist on classic pizza with bold Indian flavors. The masala toppings were well-spiced, the crust was perfectly baked, and the fusion combinations worked surprisingly well. Great spot if you’re craving something different from traditional pizza. We also tried their chaat corner, however, it does require some improvements. The samosa in the chenna samosa were over fried giving a different taste, but overall a good experience. Will visit again for the Pizza!

Go with an open mind and a desire to try something totally different! Yes, they have more traditional pizzas, tacos, etc for those less adventurous. HOWEVER…the real surprises are in the non-typical.
First evening I had a garlic chicken type pizza and it was pretty good. Tonight I got more adventurous and went with the spicy lamb kabobs pizza an a naan bread crust. It was like a mix between a Greek gyro mets Indian spices…and the jalapeños give it a touch of Mexican/Tex-mex. What a great combo! Wish I could stay in town to try another one…but, I know I’ll be back someday.
And for those wondering, they have a decent sized dine in area that is nicely kept. Off to the side is also a bar area, it that’s your thing too.

The overall food quality was very poor and far below expectations. When you go out to eat, you expect at least basic taste and quality, but this place completely failed to deliver that. Unfortunately, this was a very bad first experience and I will definitely not be coming back.

This is a cool spot in an otherwise unassuming shopping plaza. It’s furnished nicely, and has big TVs playing Indian music videos as well as a full bar. The pizza options are nearly overwhelming- there’s just so many, and they are all creative. I had a Manchurian Chicken pizza and we split Achari fries. Both were excellent. This is worth a look!
