Drove by this place and decided to stop, and we are SOOO glad we did. The pizza was the real deal. The menu had a variety of options and everything is prepared and cooked fresh on site in the wood fire pizza oven. The process was super quick and the pizza was phenomenal. Some of the best I’ve had in awhile. Light, crispy crust was the cherry on top.
The owners were super helpful and friendly as we chatted with them for a bit.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and come here. You’ll be a regular!

Just simply delicious pizza! Passed by the other day and saw the sign and wood fire cooker and made an effort to come back even though I was 30 minutes away. I already know I will make the drive again! You can taste that it is made from scratch with high quality ingredients. Owner was really nice, quick service, and many options of pizza to choose from. What more can you ask for?

Very, very good pizza and service!! Everything about the pizza was delicious and balanced. The staff was extremely friendly. It’s in a big parking lot, but not sketchy at all. It’s well lit, there’s another food stand next door, and a couple of cocktail tables to complete ~the vibe~

I wanted to come back even before I tasted the pizza. The owner is so hospitable and made for an incredible first experience. Came immediately back the next day with my wife. Pizza is amazing.

Heard good things about this place and decided to give it a try, as a native east coaster from itialian decent i grew up eating ” real pizza” from Philly, jersey and new york.
I got the margherita pizza since I dont like covering up the taste of pizza with a bunch of bs toppings.
The people working were friendly and service was fast, pizza was made and fired while I watched took less than 10 minutes.
The pizza was delicious with a slight crunch on the bottom of the crust, the sauce was delicious and the mozzarella was real whole mozzarella.
I ate the whole pizza in the parking lot.
I’d return to get another.
My only gripe was no cannoli were available until the weekend.
Will be back for more pizza and cannoli.

If you’re not eating here, you are missing out! This is easily the best pizza in Phoenix!! The ingredients are impeccable and the San Marzano sauce makes everything sing. The crust is crispy and chewy and sweet perfection!
The owner is so nice and chats with you while making your masterpiece. I wish I could give more stars, and will definitely be getting myself more Pizza Star asap!!

For such a small, quaint and fun popup of sorts, the mastery of ingredients cannot be matched.
The best way to describe this pizza, whereas almost every pizza out there tastes the same, Pizza Star flavor can only be described as 100% fresh. The ingredients are chosen and made from the finest available and created with the best ingredient, love. Perfectly topped be that sauce or, no ingredient is out matched by another. The perfect amount of each is carefully added to create an other worldly experience of taste. Veggies, OR meat, OR cheese, and the perfect sauce make this one of the very best however you prefer.
