Came from Lafayette with my family for a late lunch and we were met with outstanding service and a friendly staff who had us seated immediately. The food was brought out within 20 minutes of ordering. The Ferdies Special is 10/10. This place is also a great spot to get beer. They can bring you a pitcher that is chilled and mugs that are frozen! And whenever your mug runs empty, they bring you a fresh frozen one for you to fill up with your pitcher Great food and great experience! this is definitely one of those places that gets extremely busy after 5 PM so be aware of that!

No more pizza shack for me. Went to lowes in Opelousas and ordered from the parking and they told me 20 minutes. I ordered pizza and lasagna so I got there in like 5 minutes. Ordered a beer, with a chipped mug, and played video poker for a little while. Sat there waiting for about 30 minutes and even walked out and walked right back in and nobody asked if I needed help so they knew I was waiting for my order. So finally after 40 minutes I asked about my order and they picked it off the counter and handed it to me. I brought an ice chest to keep the food warm for a 15 minute drive but when I got home our food was cold. Never again

Appetizers were better than the pizza in my opinion. The pizza crust is very crispy. Low key atmosphere. Just grab your own seat and you get friendy service. Pay as you walk out to leave.

It’s a small little place which explains the wait. Everyone is friendly and there are two TVs turned on to whichever sporting event is most popular during the time of day. The pizza was worth the wait, and I will return the next time I am in the area. A nice little find!

I knew this pizza would be amazing the second it was put on the table. The crust was perfect and the pizza was full of flavor! Sarah was an amazing waitress also. Can’t wait to come back!!

Not what it use to be…one topping pepperoni pizza cost same as “special” pizza, was burnt, and had too much salt. Whoever answered the phone didn’t know much about the pricing, and there were no menu prices on their website. Thought I’d support a small local business, but can do better…

My kind of pizza joint. You don’t go there for elegant dining, but rather good food. Made me feel like I was still in college. Pizza and the house salad were great, as were the service and beverages, which are often watered down at other eateries. Can’t wait to go back.

How do they have almost 5 stars? What place serves burnt pizza like this? We brought it back after being told we would receive a new pizza and a refund. We went back only to be told one or the other. We got our refund (no new pizza) and decided others needed to know about their poor quality of food. The sad part is that the owner is known by someone close to me & this person knows he wouldn’t approve of this, but he was not available at the time. So this what we got. You probably cannot tell that’s supposed to be pepperoni.

I work at another named pizza restaurant in Texas. Naturally, when family we were visiting wanted pizza, I wanted something different. We made an excellent choice! People who lived there for years didn’t know you were here. Now they do! We called ahead for a pick-up. My daughter, who was helping me, noticed that the person who answered the phone did not sound excited that we were ordering. I reminded her it was 6:30 pm on a Friday. When we arrived, we were greeted quickly. I noticed all the tables were full, and there was a line for dine in. Another sign we chose wisely. The team was working hard in the back. It looked so smooth. I know, first hand, how rough it can be. Loved the non-conveyor belt ovens. The taste was reflected as a brick oven type. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!
