This place is GREAT. I am originally from NY and had some of the best pizza and I have high standards. The pizza at Pizza Sam’s brings me right back to Little Italy. I ordered small pizza with bacon onion and Ham extra thin crust
When I went to go pick up the pizza and had a regular crust I said something to the tall dark-haired lady she said all I did was complain when I come in if the order was right I would not have complained
Is it your policy the customers cannot complain about their order being wrong
So I went ahead and told her I would accept the pizza even though it had a regular crust instead of a thin crust
As I was walking out the door she told me don’t bother coming back so you all got your pizza back I got my money back. I am 69 years old of sound mind but there is no way that a senior citizen should be talked to like that and told not to come back because they got the order wrong
This is the third time in a row they have given me the wrong crust I had a friend with me that heard me order an extra thin crust three times and they still did not get my order right
I was told that the lady that had
taking my order where’s a hearing aid
I understand that the lady was hearing impaired maybe it would be best if she didn’t answer the phones to try to take orders
Again there’s no way I should have been talked to like that because they messed up the order and told not to come back believe me I will not be back
Unless something is done I would expect an apology and the employee reprimanded
I would appreciate a response to this review

My favorite pizza, I’ve had it in chicago, California, Illinois, indiana, denver, Oregon, ohio, kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, arkansa, I’m sure I’m missing a few states, but nothing comes close! How i order it? Xtra crust, xtra sauce and well done. Phenomenal

Pizza is terrible. If i wanted to cut my own pizza, i would have bought Digorno from walmart. 1st bad order I didn’t make a big deal, wasnt mad because maybe just i got a bad pizza. This is my idk how many order, but never have received a good quality pizza. My pizza was not even cut all the way through at all. The first photo shows The lines across didnt even match up. It’s almost like someone TRIED cutting each piece individually. The pizza was not even cut, theres just an imprint on the top of the pizza where someone “tried”. The second photo, is a piece that is not even cooked through all the way. Basically the center of the pizza is still doughhy. The 3rd photo, i dont even know what has happened. Terrible quality. And from seeing the MULTIPLE reviews about how the owner treats his employees badly, I’m just gonna order elsewhere from now on.

At Sam’s, you could order a steak and sit down and eat it while you waiting on your takeout pizza at Sam’s you could order a picture of root beer at Sam’s. You can get shrimp cocktail with your order of steak.

Walked in and gave the guys a challenge to make a veggie pizza as good as the slice I had just had in New York City. They took that challenge and smashed it out of the park! They put so many veggies on that pizza I was shocked they could get it in and out of the oven. The crust was fantastic, the taste was delicious. Closest I’ve had to the NY pizza I dream about, right here in Alma. Thank you!

Pizza Sam’s brings back soooooo many wonderful memories for me. When I lived in Alma and St. Louis, this place was an icon. You couldn’t out do Pizza Sam’s. The decor didn’t change in the last 40 years and that’s ok. From the swordfish on the wall to the mints on the counter, this place is the real deal.
