I grew up in this neighborhood- this building was Bell’s Diner in the late 60’s. It’s been many things since then.
I tried the pizza for the first time – crust is relatively thin and cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce is very good – not salty or acidic. We had Tommy’s Pizza for many years and it closed a few years back. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood. Next time I’ll try a spinach pie or a steak sandwich.
Since I’m Italian I don’t get mozzarella cheese on my pizza- I order it like bakery pizza (no cheese) then sprinkle some Romano or Parmesan cheese on top.
Inside is simple, clean, and with a few tables & chairs.
Tonight, my second time 30 May, I went back with a friend. I had chicken parmigiana with penne pasta. The sauce (gravy!) was perfect and the pasta was al dente. My friend got eggplant parmigiana & pasta. We both enjoyed our meals 5/5!
Ok, tonight 5/15/24 with the hot weather, I wanted something light. I ordered a Fattoush Salad with grilled shrimp. Freshly made and the shrimp was grilled perfectly! Try this if you want a tasty salad.

This Pizzeria is amazing. I love the taste of their pizza and the quality of ingredients. I order a Greek pizza and a Steak Bomb pizza. The customer service was great, the workers are friendly and helpful.
I was looking for a pizza place near my home and came across Pizza Roma and I saw that it was highly rated, now I understand why. I recommend it to anyone.

Looks like a two bit bodega! Got a couple of grinders. If you’re looking for deli meat, look elsewhere. If I wanted a sandwich from Dominoes, I’ve would’ve went to Dominoes. Used to be a good place, not sure if it’s the new owners or just greed.

This place is seriously fantastic. The pizza is a really nice thin crust, perfect amount of cheese and sauce with a nice crust. Mozzarella sticks are amazing, crispy and beautifully stretchy. Any time I get delivery it’s always super quick with the pizza mozzarella sticks still piping hot too. Seriously just go here and and try it, it speaks for itself.

I came here at 12:45pm. The woman rang me up for ‘2 slices and a soda’ lunch special, and I could see the total was $5.50. Then, she hit something that added $3 and took away the itemized listing. They charged me $8.50 altogether, and I was paying cash.
I work up the street and would have otherwise made this my regular lunch spot.
Sadly, they have lost my business now.
The pizza is fine

I’ve had better frozen pizza than whatever it is we were delivered one hour late. Undercooked, cheap ingredients, cold (both pizza and soggy wings) and late… Horrible…

I’ve been living in the Chalkstone area for about 6 years now. I’ve always seen them but never ate there. After 6 years I can confirm that I’ve missed nothing. I ordered a steak bomb with cheese. It was flavorless. It was sloppy. I may try again for the pizza but don’t quote me on it. I want to like this place because it’s close to home but their not worth the money.

Ordered a calzón but got a pizza instead because the person who took my call didn’t put in the right order. Had to call them about the error. (The girl who took my order giggle like ok yeah you messed up but no need for that) I wanted the calzón (garlic chicken bird nest) because it had no cheese like the menu ingredients is listed but when remade my order and i took, it has cheese. Very disappointed for my first time here. Lost out on $20 that could have been better spent elsewhere.

Tried Pizza Roma for the first time a few weeks ago at a golf league and it was phenomenal. Made sure to get it again, this time not starving and slightly buzzed, and it was again phenomenal. New York style pizza is one of my favorites and not many people around here do it right but this place does.
Side note, I did not have the pleasure of meeting the previous owner but the amount of hate coming from people because of a change is just ridiculous. You would think people would show love to someone who took over a local business and is working hard to keep it alive and a loving memory for the former owner but then again can’t expect much these days.
Good luck and I will continue to be a loyal customer!
