I was looking for a local restaurant with quality food in Pigeon Forge but it was impossible to find one until Pizza-Rio popped up. Based on the reviews, we decided to try and I was extremely surprised. The atmosphere and music are great, perfect for families and date nights. The food is delicious and authentic. The menu is pretty much a full-course dining experience. You get some appetizers, try all kids of pizza, and have sweet pizza for desert. The strawberry and Nutella one would blow your mind! My main concerned was being a vegetarian, but after I mentioned to the staff about my dietary restriction, they kindly brought me so many vegetarian options. The service is one of the best I’ve ever had and all the waiters made sure that we were happy and satisfied. I highly recommend Pizza-Rio if you’re around Pigeon Forge.

Pizza-Rio was such a fun and unique dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, modern, and clean. The dining room is bright with plenty of natural light, and the tables are nicely set with thoughtful little touches like oil, hot sauce, and even a candle on the table – giving it a cozy but upscale vibe.
The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server explained how the Brazilian all-you-can-eat pizza concept worked, and they were attentive throughout the meal, asked if we were celebrating anything special and incorporated it into our visit, as well as always making sure we had what we needed.
We started with fresh bread, crisp Caesar salad, and cold water served in a carafe, which was a nice touch. The salad was simple but fresh with crunchy croutons and plenty of parmesan.
Then came the star of the show – the endless pizzas! They rotate through with different trays and offer you a slice right at the table. The variety was incredible: from traditional flavors like pepperoni, cheese, Hawaiian, and margherita, to more unique options like broccoli and corn, nachos pizza, and even loaded meat combinations. It was so fun to try things I normally wouldn’t think to order, and the quality was consistently good. The crust was baked perfectly, the toppings were fresh, and the flavors were bold.
Just when we thought we were too full, the dessert pizzas came out – and wow. The Nutella Com Morango, Banoffee (which has Brazilian dulce de leche), and Brigadeiro pizzas were the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It’s not every day you get dessert on pizza, and it was surprisingly delicious.
Overall, Pizza-Rio is a must-visit in Pigeon Forge if you’re looking for something different from the usual. It’s all-you-can-eat, but with a classy and fun twist, and you truly get to try flavors you can’t find anywhere else. Between the excellent service, clean and modern atmosphere, and amazing food, I’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

You better be hungry when you come here because they are going to seriously feed you!! You start off with bread, then you can add a salad then meatballs and hot wings. Then the pizzas start coming 3 slices at a time. You can pass if there is one you dont think you want to try. There are like 16 different pizzas and 5 different desert pizzas that you can try. I was stuffed when leaving here. Every one that we tried was excellent. All the food was hot and fresh. The place inside was decorated very nicely and the waitstaff was excellent as well. The bathrooms were spotless and smelled very clean. This place we will remember and can’t wait to come back again.

This is a true Brazilian Pizza Style, where they will serve you non stop wall you can eat pizza, the same way the we do for Brazilian Steakhouses. The food and the options for pizza were great! The service was a little messy sometimes but nothing horrible. And the price is very cheap for an all you can eat, but with drinks and tip it does add up a bit.

If I could leave zero reviews I would. Had a reservation for 6:15 for 5, got there at 6:09 and still wasn’t seated 1 hour after arrival. Told the hostess that it was an awful experience and to cancel my table by the 1 hour mark. No food being served in bar area, which was full with standing room only of people waiting to be seated. Bartender seemed to be doing a good job but was clearly understaffed for a Valentine’s crowd.I heard the hostess tell a group of 5 that it would be a 20-30min when i checked in for my reservation at 6:09…they also were not seated by the time I left. Wouldn’t know avout the quality of food as their management was not severely lacking and I didn’t get to try their food. Pics with faces blocked but 6+ tables available that weren’t being utilized.

A truly unique dining experience! The restaurant is exquisite. Like fine dining but casual and comfortable. Tables are arranged perfectly so that you’re not sitting too close to the next one.
The appetizers were fantastic! I’m not a big wing fan, but gladly accepted them since they are offered. Best wings ever! I could’ve ate a whole plate full. Perfectly crisp skin, tender chicken, and amazingly flavorful sauce! Meatballs were great. Breads were fresh and delicious, though the flatbread was more like a cracker, it was so good! Salads were made with very fresh lettuces and greens, simply dressed and a great start to the meal.
Then we get to the pizza! Holy moly! Every single slice was delicious! Even the simple cheese was over-the-top good! Flavorful, creamy cheese, fresh toppings, quality meats, all fantastic. Loved the Portuguesa which had hard boiled eggs on it, very unusual, but it was actually ones of my favorites! There was also one with finely sliced chunks of ham that was delicious! The dessert pizzas were good, especially the banana. The others were alright, but didn’t wow us like the banana. I personally think the dessert pizzas could use a little improvement and more variety, but it’s certainly not going to stop me from returning!
Everything was timed well, and we felt we were given enough time to enjoy each offering before bringing out the next one.
My only real “complaint” is that the waitress (who took our order) wasn’t exceptionally friendly or attentive, but the rest of the waitstaff was very friendly and cheerful. Our drinks sat empty a couple times before being noticed by other members of the waitstaff. We werent really clear on how the waitstaff worked…If we were supposed to have just one or if they all worked together, because honestly, the lady who took our order didn’t really do much otherwise. Again, nothing that would prevent me from returning, I’d just hope for more attentive service as far as drink refills next time.
Overall, totally worthy of five stars!
