Pizza and Chicken together at last, what’s not to like?! Especially when both are really tasty. I would go out of my way on its own to eat fried chicken from here. Always really flavorful and juicy, and holds its own against any chain fried chicken restaurants.
Add the fact that it’s reasonably priced, buffet style dining, and this is a great place for family value.
The staff was doing a great job of making patrons feel welcome and constantly cleaning surfaces to keep the place sparkling. The bathrooms were spotless even!
There’s a fun game room in the back, making this a great place for kids parties.
I used to have more of these in Omaha so I was really pleased to come across this on my way through Kearney. It’s Omaha‘s loss! Pizza Ranch has it going on!

Good food, good variety on the buffet, kid friendly. If you’re not tolerant to kids being loud and excited and their volume if joy annoys you maybe go somewhere else. I love that they have screens so you can see your kids in the game room while you sit in the dining area waiting for them to run out of money.

Opening day! Friendly Staff, pleasant atmosphere, good food. Arcade looks cool though I didn’t try anything out today. Brand new, so kind of to be expected, but everything was very clean. My first time at a Pizza Ranch, so can’t compare to others. Great addition to food options in Kearney! The pizzas I tried were all good, think I prefer the thin crust. Well let’s start with the name… Pizza Ranch, good enough to bring you in to eat some pretty good buffet pizza, actually ends up being quite a bit better than you expected. And then… the absolute elephant in the room is this amazingly delectable, nearly indescribable, juicy, crisp, joyous experience of divinity that is only referred as simply fried chicken…. if I didn’t add enough adjectives to convince the masses that this is great chicken, go back and read that a few more times, just to revisit the jubilant expression put into this simple review. EAT HERE OFTEN!

We were in town for doctor appointments, and afterward we were hungry. I had two other places picked out, but neither of them were easy to find parking for our truck. I saw a billboard for Pizza Ranch and we just went on an impulse. Big parking lot, not fancy, trendy, or the most impressive food we’ve ever had, but everything looked good, tasted good, and we had absolutely no complaints. We definitely weren’t hungry afterwards! Not just pizza and salad, we were surprised to find fried chicken, mashed potatoes, dressing, and gravy too. And desserts. Very clean restaurant and restrooms, friendly staff.

I love Pizza Ranch, have eaten at several, this was the worst one I’ve been to. It was moderately busy and pizza should have been flying off the buffet, but instead they had several unique pizzas that nobody wanted just sitting there while the occasional pepperoni disappeared in seconds. Some of the pizza that was on the buffet when i came in was still there when I left 40 minutes later. Also, there were zero ice cream toppings, no sprinkles, nuts, chocolate or caramel, nothing just plain vanilla ice cream. The overall feel of the place was just kinda ho hum, it didn’t have that Pizza Ranch feel. The employees too, nobody was bad, but my hometown Pizza Ranch employees are always cheerful and outgoing, like chik-fil-a employees, the ones here didn’t say a word. I would suggest management go to other Pizza Ranches to see the difference. Overall it was a disappointment.

This is strictly regarding the frozen pizza available at the restaurant. Do better. Perhaps offer half baked pizzas rather than frozen. The frozen pizzas are nothing better than what you’d find in the frozen food section at the store.

Negative stars for Kearney location!
Food was the worst I’ve ever eaten! Nothing was fresh, their was hardly any pizza and what was left was dry, hard and rubbery. The other food in the warmer was dried and looked old! We managed to eat half a piece each and left. The service wasn’t great either as they stood around, no refund given. The eating side was dirty and not kept. I’ve been to other Pizza Ranches and I have always been impressed. I will NEVER go to the Kearney location one again. Worst $40 I’ve ever spent. To top it off we were hungry so we went and spend money elsewhere to get food.
