What a pleasant dining experience. The service is fast, fresh food was always available, the restaurant was clean. The food was delicious! My only comparison is CiCi’s and this blows CiCi’s out of the water! Thank you Pizza Ranch, you helped make a date with my wife feel new.

We had an excellent experience at Pizza Ranch. Great selection at the pizza buffet salad bar and chicken dinner buffet. They even made pizzas of our choice. The soft serve ice cream machine was a huge hit with our family, too. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff. They truly went above and beyond to give us a great experience. We liked the pizza so much that we ordered take-out the next night!

I just can’t find a buffet anywhere nowadays so when we ran across a pizza buffet, we decided to stop in and try it. We really enjoyed it, especially when we found out. There was a lot more than just pizza. My grandson was really happy and we loved the food we will be back.

Gave the overall experience 4 stars for now. This was or first time ever eating here and we only had 3 of our normal 7 people with us, so the experience may be different next time. AND THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME.

Most unique aspect of this restaurant: If you order the buffet, you can request ANY of their pizzas to be made (with the crust of your choice) for the bar. HOWEVER, they’ll bring it to your table first, since you ordered it, so your party has first dibs on the pizza. The remaining slices will go to the bar for others to enjoy.

The pizza was ok but the fried chicken was wonderful! They have a pretty good selection of food and it was pretty tasty! We went around 4:30 pm and they were consistently refilling the food with hot food.

Brought my boys to try this pizza buffet experience ages 5, 7, and 9. I think it was a success! Plenty of pizza options. They really liked the bread sticks and dessert options! Also each one found a pizza with their topping. As well as salad and veggie options too.

I am not usually one to complain, and I have pretty much always had a good experience at any Pizza Ranch I’ve been to. However, this was the complete opposite and may actually be one of the worst, if not the worst, experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. On February 1 at around 4:00 pm, my parents and I went to the Pizza Ranch in Bloomington, IL. When we got there, there weren’t many pizzas on the buffet, which can sometimes be expected, so we didn’t think too much of it. Fast forward to 30 minutes after we had gotten there, they still had not brought any pizzas out to the buffet. We asked an employee if they were going to be bringing any out soon, and she asked what kind we were looking for. We said, preferably something without jalapeños and green olives. Fast forward another 30+ minutes (so now over a hour total since we got there) and they still had not brought any pizzas out. Finally, they brought out 2, which one was chicken, onion, and pineapple (likely a real popular one) and another with jalapeños on it. The same employee came to our table and we asked again. Her response was that there was pizzas on the buffet. I responded that they had only brought out 2 in over the hour we had been there and they were not even common pizzas, to which she said she would get the manager. Upon speaking to the manager, the response we got from him was, “Oh, we have pizzas in the back, I did not know anybody was waiting for pizzas.” You are a pizza buffet, and you have customers sitting in the restaurant, what do you think they are doing? By this time, we were just ready to leave. We said something else to the manager and his only attempt to rectify the situation was, “We can make you a pizza if you want it.” We had already been waiting over an hour for them to put pizzas out, so we should not/did not have to wait any longer. In no way would we ask for our money back. But when you spend over $20 a person, totaling over $60, you expect to be able to eat and not have to wait over an hour for pizzas to be put on the buffet. Needless to say, we VERY likely will not ever return to this Pizza Ranch. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Went today 1/1/26, absolutely awful!
They had 5 pizzas out 3 with Jalapeños, we can’t eat Jalapeños, the whole time we were there they never brought out any other pizzas. You very seldom saw the help, only if someone came in.
We ate there a month ago and had same experience. DONE! Not going to waste our money again on that place !

I’m so sorry about the one star!!! My battery died and I didn’t get back to my review.
We have NEVER had a bad meal at Pizza Ranch. The food is always prepared properly and tasted delicious. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. We ordered a special pizza and it showed up within a few minutes of our table selection. It was wonderful and the server was engaged and made sure we had just what we wanted.

We came for the all you can eat buffet and kids eat free on Tuesday. Ashley greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming. She continued to smile and go above and beyond as they were shorthanded and operating with about three staff members but never kept moving and cleaning up keeping food full and fresh and customers happy. I highly recommend a visit if you have not been here or lately. It is nice to see a friendly smile and no matter the ask they do it with a smile and are happy taking care of you and it is not just a job or task. Thanks Ashley for making our night and experience very pleasant and overly pleased!
