We like that Pizza Ranch is a good deal for the price. So, when we can, we will often eat at one and just have that be the meal for the day and just eat little snacks the rest of the day. On our way to Virginia we saw this Pizza Ranch had decent reviews so we drove a little bit out of our way to give it a try. This one is in the same plaza as a sunshine grocery. They had many options on the salad bar, they had different options on the hot bar like fried fish and Mac n cheese. Their chicken was really hot and fresh! I didn’t even have pizza this time I just ate salad and the hot bar. My husband had the pizza and said it was really good. The guy managing the bar had his daughter with him and they both were really nice. If you are in the area and are starving, this place will fill you up with tasty food!

We had been very disappointed in this location for a while; they have new owners, and it has made a complete turnaround. The food was amazing, the staff attentive and helpful. The restaurant itself is clean and not so cluttered. We were not disappointed and will be back.

Awsome place to eat. Food was great but that chicken was bomb. One of the best fried chicken I have ever had. Lots of stuff to eat you wouldn’t expect. We were just passing through but we will go back if in that area again

Their buffet is full of fresh salads, their pizza is outstanding and their chicken is out of this world yummy. The only complaint I have is that I overeat when I go there, but that is my fault. 🙂

It’s definitely a small down pizza buffet. The pizza was semi fresh, but tasty. The fried chicken was delicious! The ice cream was good. The service was on point. I’d go again if I was in Hartford and hungry.

Some reviews here are wrong. As a regular, i love the small town atmosphere and the employees are allways very nice. I do think the mangement is crumbling but the employes are really keeping it together. The food is allways absolutely supurb. I would ask the president to eat here because its that high of a level. If i could give it 6 stars i would.
