I visited this Pizza Ranch during their promotional pricing, and while the staff in the game room was wonderful, the food safety and management were a nightmare. We were served multiple pieces of significantly undercooked chicken from the buffet. It was translucent, red near the bone, and had a dangerously slimy, rubbery texture. I realized as soon as I took a bite, however, some of my family consumed portions of it before realizing the issue. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, they completely brushed it off and didn’t pull the batch or check temperatures.
The buffet was poorly stocked the entire time. It felt like they rushed the cooking process to keep up with the crowd, sacrificing guest safety for speed. It is unacceptable to serve raw poultry and then dismiss a customer’s legitimate health concern.
The One Bright Spot: I want to give a huge thank you to the gentleman working behind the counter in the game room. He was extremely kind, helpful, and the only part of our visit that felt professional.
I’ve attached photos of the raw chicken. I’m now monitoring my family for food poisoning. Extremely disappointed.

Have been going here for years and very disappointed last night. I ordered the chicken meal to go online. Added 2 individual sides of coleslaw to my order. Thought the price to be pretty expensive. Drove up to the pick up window to pick up my food. First gentleman who saw me at window just looked at me sitting there twice and then looked the other way. Next gentleman did come to the window was friendly. Got my order from the first guy. Got home no coleslaw. Opened chicken dry and very overcooked. Mashed potatoes were good but not enough gravy. For what I paid I expected a lot more. Have eaten inside before and chicken was never overcooked like it was this time. I am usually not one to complain but this a bit much this time. I called Pizza Ranch. General Manager was too busy to come to the phone. Person who answered said he remembered me and GM would call me back. He never did. Sorry Sun Prairie location. You just lost my business.

I had an amazing experience at Pizza Ranch and I can honestly say it deserves every bit of this 5-star review. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly. The restaurant was clean, organized, and had a really comfortable vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.
The buffet was excellent. The pizza was fresh, hot, and constantly being restocked, so there was always something good available. They had a great variety of pizzas, and everything we tried tasted great. The chicken was also really good—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sides and salad bar had plenty of options, and the dessert pizzas were a perfect way to finish the meal.
What really made this visit stand out, though, was the service. I want to give a huge shoutout to Robert for doing such a great job. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive the entire time we were there. You could tell he genuinely cared about making sure customers were having a good experience. He kept things running smoothly, checked in when needed, and had a great attitude the whole time. Employees like Robert make a big difference and really elevate the overall experience.

We stopped here to enjoy their famous buffet and good pizza around 6:30pm, after waiting over 40 minutes they still have not replenished any pizza , pasta or chicken. Multiple customers went to an associate to find out when they would bring out more pizzas. Poor service, and no food that we paid for. I would highly recommend to not visit this location!

This place has gone downhill recently. The last 3 times I’ve gone there’s been hardly anything on the buffet including no cheesy ranch sticks which are one of my favorite items on the buffet and I thought they were always supposed to be stocked up on those. The only pizzas on the buffet are weird and have sauces on them or a ton of toppings which for some may be a great value but gimme the plain ole pepperoni. They also still had breakfast stuff on the buffet at 5pm so shows how much they care about quality of the food.

Jeff and his team were amazing. I brought out of town family here for dinner since their big menu has something everyone could enjoy. Everyone loved the food and we had a good time. I have been coming to this location for several years now and Jeff went out of his way to make visit the best one yet. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Please save your time and money if you’re considering visiting this place. It took the staff nearly 20 minutes just to understand a simple order of jalapeño and pineapple. I clearly told them we are allergic to meat, yet after waiting another 30 minutes, they brought out a pizza with sausage. Staff doesn’t speak English neither they understand. It was manager he took order who doesn’t even know how to place the order. The communication and attention to detail were extremely disappointing.
