Food was very fresh, we got there at noon. Not very busy for a Friday so that was nice.
Only recommendation I would give is to keep the over head lights on the buffet. People dining know the buffet ends at 1pm, so no more food will be coming out. However, with atleast 6 tables of people still eating I think it would be common courtesy to leave the lights on until patrons have finished eating. People that walked in at 1240pm had to try and see what was what for the items. It was great to see 2 people walk in at 115pm and the young man allowed them to still get the buffet. Also, a lady really wanted wings when the chicken came out but there were none. They went back and cooked some to accommodate her request. Very nice!!!
Great service, excellent food, clean restaurant. Look forward to coming back again.
I’d like a refund but didn’t bother to ask, we won’t be returning!!!!
His attitude made it crystal clear that our gluten-free request would have been treated with the same level of apathy, if not worse. So we bailed and hit Culver’s instead, where the staff was kind, helpful, and actually acted like they wanted our business. The food there? Fantastic.
Moral of the story: skip the Pizza Ranch drama and take your appetite somewhere that respects both your time and your dietary needs. Decorah Pizza Ranch? Hard pass.
