We walked in knowing we had arrived slightly ahead of opening time, however the open sign was brightly lit and displayed. Immediately upon entering was sternly told they did not open until 11. I simply said that the open sign was on. The response was so. I asked do you always have the open sign on when closed and was sternly told yes!!! I responded that doesn’t make since. There was no verbal reply she simply threw her hands in the air and walked into the kitchen. Upon coming back in after a few minutes at 11 o’clock on 3/4/26 found out she was the manager. So I guess it will do no good reporting this to the manager!!! Don’t assume they are open if the open sign is on. And if you do be prepared to be treated like an idiot!!!

Spencer Pizza Ranch is awful. We were at 5:45pm. Paid over $70 for my family to eat. No stocking the buffet at all. When asked we were told they are working on to go orders. Lots of people were upset. Added some pictures. Emmetsburg Pizza Ranch is the best I’ve been to around here.

Everytime we get carry out here there’s no one in the back to give out the orders and we end up waiting at least 15 minutes. This time someone even said I’ll be right with you and still waited that long. A lady came in behind me and got so mad about waiting she just went behind the counter and grabbed her order

A lot of the food was good but most, if not all of the pizzas were spicy. Because of acid reflux, I can’t eat anything spicy.

Are you going to have more pizzas that are not spicy? How would I know which ones are spice and which ones are not spicy? I’ve never been anywhere that has spicy pizzas, except here. This is the only Pizza Ranch that I’ve been to that has spicy pizzas.

Nothing was hot except the cheese pizza we requested and that was because it was right out of the oven. I gave this PR one last shot but it never improves. Salad bar is not fresh either. Spirit Lake and Emmetsburg put them to shame.

4-25-25 This isn’t the first time to be disappointed. The chicken tray was empty most of the the time and tonight the pizza counter was empty as well. They DO NOT keep up with the need. We had to sit and wait several times for food. The chicken is good IF you can get some. One comment from our group is he was tired of not having any food availablel and doesn’t plan to come back. They need to have a better system. The business wasn’t that busy as well, so it shouldn’t happen. Nobody came to clear the table of any plates. We stacked several plates on a nearby table so we could go back for seconds. There were 8 in our group. Dont expect any tips with this kind of service. Prices seem to keep going up and service going down. Please fix it, I do like your chicken.

Zero, I brought my kids in for lunch at about 1 and the entire time we where here there no attempts to refill the buffet with one fresh pizza. I understand you close at 2. However, if you have a customer who paid for the buffet at least one fresh pizza would have been nice.
