We were at the counter at noon. Three people, 2 adult, 1 senior. Went thru the buffet and grabbed the last two dried out chicken thighs and that was all the chicken that was out. Asked the girl there twice if they would have more chicken out soon. At 12:40 went to the counter and asked for a third time. “Oh, we can drop some. It will be 11 to 12 minutes.” Walked back to the table and we decided to leave. Forty five minutes we were there and they couldn’t be bothered to make any chicken after asking more then once, and not even making an effort until going up to complain. What a waste of $40. This is the 3rd time this location has failed to make chicken when we went. Such a disappointment as this place used to be amazing. Hate to say this, but avoid the noon buffet like the plague, and yes, I live in this town.

The crew was very nice and respectful despite me picking up my pizzas close to close. The store was very clean and pizzas tasted great! Logan, whom I’m assuming made them, called to let me know there was an issue with my order. Super nice and gave me plenty of time to switch to a different specialty pizza! Thank you! 6/16 7:50pm.

Carlos and his entire crew were amazing! We called ahead a few weeks in advance for a group of 30 reserving their big room. With so many people, they had something for everyone! Pizza, great chicken, salad and either dessert pizza or pudding and soft serve ice cream. Thank you, Carlos and your entire crew for what you do every day!

We called our order in to go ahead of time. Had to wait way past expected time. And very glad we didn’t plan on the buffet. 2 pieces of Pepperoni and 2 of something else. That was it for pizza. 2 pieces of dry chicken and a couple potato wedges. Mashed potatoes were hard! Lol

The absolute worst pizza ranch in existence!! We came in at 6:30pm on a Friday night and the buffet was nearly completely empty. The little food that remained consisted of really old gummy instant mashed potatoes, 2 pieces of cactus bread, and 3 pieces of possibly week-old chicken. The salad bar was equally repulsive and I was sincerely concerned that the food might not even be safe. The bathroom was tiny and didn’t have a changing table. The highchair they gave is was broken and very filthy. The restaurant was filled with hungry, angry people but the staff appeared to be completely incompetent. In the hour that we stayed, they only brought out about 7 pizzas and some chicken. This was not nearly enough to feed everyone. We finally just gave up waiting for more food to appear and left. I’ll never go back again.

A solid 4 stars, possibly more. Selection was kinda low, but what was there, was good. Diverse items for the space they have to work with. Fried chicken could use a little more flavor, but all in all, definitely not regrettable.

Older place. Good food. Easy to have a larger group like 10 to 12 people. They also have a party room that can be reserved. They put out a vegetarian pizza on our request.

Lived in Ackley for 7 years, moved out then came back to visit this nostalgic pizza joint. It never changed, and tasted absolutely divine! You won’t be disappointed, I wasn’t after being gone for years.

Disappointed in Ackley. They have really gone down hill on Tuesdays. It used to be fun to take my daughter but now the pizza you want on the buffet isn’t brought out for 40+ minutes.
