As a native New Yorker, I have to say this is not the real deal. There’s no flavor! The sauce is meaningless, the dough / crust is crunchy, as in lifeless, after the reheat. Bland and boring . Arinelle is by far the better slice in the SF area.

If you are buying by the slice, go here. This is the only legit East Coast style pizza in the Bay Area I’ve found so far, and I’ve looked a lot. As a 30 year Boston native who has been living in the Bay Area for the past 2 years, there is a surprisingly low amount of places to get quality pizza. A lot of places advertise themselves at East Coast pizza but it’s clearly West Coast garbage. This place, however, clearly makes their own dough from scratch and they cook it right. The slices came out fresh and are massive – I bought two but really only needed one.
