I drive by this place a ton of times. Kinda forgetting that Pizza Plus is tucked inside a small shopping complex on Missouri Flat Road, south of Highway 50, in Placerville. The pizzas are pretty darn good.
The pizzas are oven baked with fresh, quality fixings. Mmm. Simple, classic pizzas done right. The staff are the best. Friendly, helpful. They have a couple of dining areas. The place is kept super clean. No frills. Comfortable. It’s locally owned by the same original owner for over 30 years. That’s a testament right there.

I got pizza tonight and it was extremely slow, and it was the worst experience I have ever had. Cleary the kids working did not care one bit about quality. My pizza was burnt, topping thrown on unevenly and I asked for THICK crust and got the tiniest crust I have ever seen from them. Clearly, the workers do not possess any skills to make pizza in any way. It was burnt but still not cooked in the middle and the toppings were barely anything! The crust being non existent just showed that they can’t even follow simple instructions. All of my friends agree that this place has gone down hill.

The staff was nice and the pizza was good, they obliged my fantastic taste of removing every thing from the pizza but pepperoni. The pepperoni I received was straight from the Italian gods themselves. I applaud the staffs great choice of pepperoni. I will be returning soon to receive more pepperoni

I have had your pizza many times. This time I ordered the Garlic chicken pizza. The flavors were good but it was very soggy in middle of pizza. Like it was not cooked enough or too much moisture?

We tried them out for the first time and it was the best pizza we have had in a long time. They are so generous with the toppings and the crust is thick, soft and crispy at the same time. Any other pizza place cannot compare. We will be eating there from now on.
