Way overpriced for strip mall takeout/gas station seating restaurant. Seated ourselves, eventually went to back and got the attention of one of 2 people working.food was basic, they have a refrigerator to get a coke from. The place was shoddily remodeled at some point. Very low budget. Couple of Dollar store prints on the wall for decor, and flashing rope lights around the top of the ceiling. Another couple came in. I went ahead and seeded them and brought them a menu because again no staff. The guy working was very nice though. Overall nothing more than an Indian version of a Chinese strip mall takeout joint. And paid $80 for two people to eat there after a tip. Nowhere near worth it. Though I hear they have a cheap lunch. I also noticed that they charge you to use a credit card. Definitely would not return nor recommend.

Wonderfull experience at this resturant. warm welcome, good food recommendations, timely service, good portion sizes and delicious food.
customer satisfaction is their priority it showed in their every act while we are at that resturant.
offered complimentary dessert! very few indian resturants do this, It shows they are customer centric unlike few other indian resturant which just rip off the customer pockets with their rediculous pricing, less portion sizes and bad service.
Very Satisfied with this resturant, would recommend and will visit again.
Kudos you guys! keepup the good service you are offering as this Builds the respect towards indian cusine and indian resturants decency!

This was my first time trying Indian cuisine and it was amazing! Walking in the atmosphere was very nice and warm. I loved the homey style of the restaurant. We had the buffet style and everything was delicious!! Everything was so rich full in flavor. Every bite was as good as the next one if not better! The host was very friendly and cheerful. Really recommend coming here!!

OK, I have to give my favorite Indian restaurant in Nashville five stars all the way around! I’ve been going here for many years, and although recent change of ownership, the quality of food has not changed at all. In fact, I feel like the depth of flavor has only enhanced Since turn of ownership to a friend of the owner we grew to know and love. The new owner is so kind and very personable. We met the chef who is also very friendly! We love to get the Lamb tikka marsala and the Malai Kafta and the garlic naan. All full of flavor! Gotta get the green sauce too, made fresh in house only! Also the mango raspberry pudding was superb for dessert! If you’re looking for authentic, one-of-a-kind Indian food in Nashville, you must visit here! You haven’t tried good Indian food until you’ve tried Best of India!!!!

Food was delicious and made fresh. I would prefer no bones, because it takes away from quantity of meat.
Was treated very well, it felt as we were visiting their home and being treated very well. That said, it’s a pleasurable experience. If you’re in a hurry, I suggest take-out.
I really thought it was nicely decorated. I’m a little old fashioned so I would’ve been happy with traditional Indian music. They had music that was more current and a little loud, but not so loud we couldn’t carry a conversation with eachother. They do have a buffet at certain times.

This place is amazing! The service was incredible. I walked in to order to go, so I waited inside and he brought me a glass of water. No other place has done that while I wait for food. It was a lovely touch. The food was well priced for the amount. I got an entree, naan, and one appetizer and could only eat half. So I have a meal for later. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. It only took about 10/15 minutes to prepare. Super worth it. I definitely recommend this place!
Also, here’s a picture of my cat trying to get the crumbs out of this bag. She loved the naan bread too. ✨

Having visited the Antioch location a few times, I was so excited to finally eat here. Fantastic hospitality and delicious cuisine, the experience couldn’t have been better! Thanks Chef Ram for the kind birthday treat, best spicy saag I’ve had in Nashville!!!

I came in on a random Google search on my way home. Starving, and almost foaming at the mouth angry.
As soon as I stepped into this establishment, it melted and I was drawn to the back where the Buffet sat by my nose. The server/host was very kind and allowed me to look before I just had to get a plate to go.
The buffet has a little bit of everything it seems, and I was so excited to try the Gulab Jamun, It was like a delicious little dense cake soaked in syrup and the perfect mouth full.
This meal brought out my ancestors and by the time I finished with this box I had to completely abandon my fork in favor of the naan. My tummy is so happy, and even though a few things were a little spicy it’s nothing the Lassi couldn’t fix.
Almost forgot, my to go plate for the buffet was $14.99, and I thoroughly believe I got my money’s worth
10/10 to this small business, staff working hard, food tastes better than it smells and I would not have thought that possible at first. Thank you!

I seldom write reviews, but the incredible service my boyfriend and I received last night compelled me to write this one. We have dined in a few times, ordered takeout once or twice, yet the man who waited on us – I believe he was the owner – remembered us from previous visits and welcomed us back! He was attentive and friendly, checking on us often as we dined. My husband ordered the chicken curry this time, and I had the chicken biryani. Chicken breast is hard to perfect, but theirs is never dry! In the past we’ve also ordered the lamb biryani and the chicken tikka, both of which were amazing and memorable.
Every time we go, the food is fantastic and arrives quickly, the rice is fresh, the dishes are beautifully staged, and the portions are generous! Atmosphere is relaxed and lowkey, but fancy enough for an anniversary date or birthday.
Entrees for two, plus an order of their heavenly garlic naan, cost us just over $40, including the tip – a huge bargain by today’s standards, especially considering the portion sizes. We usually have enough left over to take home for lunch the next day; last night we came hungry and cleaned our plates! I think the host may have been a little surprised at how fast we ate!
I’d highly recommend this place to anyone with a hankering for authentic Indian cuisine. We will most definitely be back soon! Five stars all around!

UPDATE: It seems as though the chicken biryani recipe has changed. Last time my husband and I ate there, the biryani had much less chicken than before and the cucumber raita was more like a garlic yogurt. Definitely not what we are used to tasting at this establishment. This is unfortunate because we would drive almost an hour to this restaurant faithfully for the last 4 years because their food was so good! I’m not sure what’s going on but my husband doesn’t want to come back here. I hope all goes well with their new changes.

This place has the most delicious Indian food in Middle Tennessee! I drive 55 minutes to come here many times. My favorite thing to order is the vegetable samosas and the chicken biryani! And they are always kind when I eat in the restaurant! I highly recommend this place if you haven’t tried it yet!
