Soooooooooo GOOD! I’ve been living here for 5 years, and I could never find a decent pizza place, let alone one that’s not repulsive (in the Fairfield area).
I ordered a small cheese pizza, grape leaves, and potato skins. The cheese pizza is AMAZING!! I went to try just 1 slice just to try it, since I got this for dinner, and I ended up hoovering 2 slices. It very much tastes like a NY pizza, which is all I’ve been looking for! The grape leaves are very tasty, and so we’re the potato skins (which were big and filling).
I finally have a pizza place here, and it’s been down the street this entire time.
Side note: I ordered this meal to-go and got to meet some of the staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. Plus, the dining area was large with comfortable dining spaces to eat.

Watch out if you order from this place. We’ve ordered in the past and it was great but our experience tonight guarantees we’ll never do it again. I ordered shrimp scampi with cavatelli and it was delivered with a side of shrimp scampi and cavatelli with red sauce separate. I called to let them know about the issue and they refused to fix it stating I “ordered it wrong” and was “suppose to order shrimp scampi OVER cavatelli”. There is no such option on their website. The receipt with the food clearly says shrimp scampi w/cavatelli. The manager/owner (male) was given several opportunities to either refund us or make it right. He refused. He hung up the phone on us twice. Had to refute the charge. Not worth the headache to have to deal with someone like that.

This is my favorite pizza in the world. Such a perfect level of thin crust and delicious sauce & cheese. Also, incredibly reasonable prices on ALL the food and definitely the wine & beer as well. You can’t really find that at any other place in the area at all.
Forget the mass produced soggy nonsense from wooster square, everything is so fresh here, and has been consistently amazing since I was a little kid coming to Pizza Palace. The new breakfast menu is also so delicious and exciting.
The Fried Calamari (and shrimp) are freshly battered for each order, and is definitely the most tender fried seafood you will find in the area. Great & fresh portions all around!
Overall, I love and truly recommend Pizza Palace. The servers and owner are all amazing and sweet, unlike the vibes of most every other place in Fairfield County.

I wanted to bring to your attention an issue I experienced during my recent delivery. When I opened the door to receive my order, the delivery person walked up, removed the pizza from the warming bag, and placed it on the top step instead of handing it to me directly. I was standing right there, and the gesture felt extremely dismissive—almost like I wasn’t deserving of a basic, respectful handoff.
I’ve never had this type of experience before and felt disrespected by the way it was handled. I hope this feedback encourages a reminder to your delivery staff about maintaining professional and courteous service, especially during in-person interactions.
