I wanna start this by saying this is not to bash this establishment. This is just my personal experience and it was a horrible one. Me and my coworkers had ordered lunch through DoorDash from Pizza Palace. I had ordered a kids chicken tender meal, which just came with chicken tenders nothing else which was weird because it use to come with fries now they charge you extra for that but moving on to the tenders , they were greasy and had no flavor. The first bite was disappointing cause again the chicken had no flavor and it was super greasy but the thing that threw me off, the most was like the texture was weird ..So me being me, I told one of my coworkers to try this just to see if it was me and I cut from the bottom end of the chicken and it was completely raw in the middle it appeared to only be the bottom half the (thicker part of the tender) however i still freak out because I had two pieces of this chicken so I called the restaurant You know to let them know and to let their cook know but the girl who answered the phone was like well it was through DoorDash I can’t do anything for you cause you did it through DoorDash. I can’t refund you. Like what?!? The fact that she even said that to me pissed me off like I was expecting anything free or for them to offer anything. The fact that there was no apologies until the end, which seemed very fake and to not even offer anything or just how the girl was talking to me or how she handled situation was trash. So as I said I’m not trying to bash this establishment but I just want to just give people a heads up that this place doesn’t know what customer service is and they don’t care about the quality of their food.. if my child had eaten this we would’ve a problem! Please do better Pizza Palace!

The food is delicious and there are big portions. The chicken tenders were huge and looked like real meat, not processed. Eggplant fries came with a big bowl of sauce. Pizza is Chicago deep dish style with a thick layer of toppings and crispy crust. They cut the large in a box style not pie pieces.

Walked in tonight for dinner, as we walked in a woman asked us to wait to be seated. We were calling a family member to see if they were joining us. A middle aged blond woman who seemed annoyed that we were there barked at us “HOW MANY ”! I had to do a double take. I asked her what she said. Again very rude “ HOW MANY”! My wife looked at me, and told the woman “ “We are all set, we are leaving” and we left. Went down the street to Marzano’s. I do not do reviews, but I have to say this review is not about their business because we have dined there before. I have never seen this woman there before and she could use some manners and some people skills.
I can spend my money anywhere.

Honestly. The best place around for grinders. I dont know why their bread is so good but it truly is. Pizza isn’t great but the sandwiches make up for it. It’s the only place I go for grinders.

Family restaurant with great service given what seemed like a hectic atmosphere. They need better management or a better system. Set up like a please be seated but attempted to run as a please wait here to be seated. Open kitchen, very loud and annoying. Upgrades need to be made. I had the baked Sicilian Penne with home made meatballs, tomato sauce, Ricotta cheese, penne, topped with Mozzarella. It was good, I finished it, however, needed more sauce and I’m not a big fan of penne but they have no angel hair. Debbie had the baked mannacotti and finished it too, so she liked it. Only 3 dressings for the dinner salad, blue cheese (yuk), ranch (yuk), and a house oil and vinegar which was not very good, what a waste of the .10 cent dinner salad. Bread was ok, kind of prebuttered but served with no butter, unacceptable. Lots of pizza options, grinders, and appetizers, but that’s it. Good heavy trafficked location so they’ll stay in business.

The pizza pepperoni was good the wings were good the service was good but I asked for chicken bacon ranch pizza and got hard over cooked chicken we couldn’t even bite into a whole pizza not even my kids would eat and where was the bacon ? So the manger sent a fresh one and it was much better I would definitely get here again . Very nice people they made a mistake on a separate occasion of wrong flavor wings apologized and sent new they are good people and a great place to eat we have enjoyed everything we tried here I highly recommend best in Torrington

Absolutely terrible experience. Ordered a pizza and it arrived completely undercooked – doughy crust that was raw in the middle, raw bell peppers, crunchy undercooked onions, and mushrooms that were barely warmed up. This is not “normal” it’s unacceptable and basically inedible.
When I politely called back to tell them about the food the girl working there was extremely rude, dismissive, and tried to gaslight me by insisting “that’s how it always comes” and that I was making a big deal out of nothing. Poor food quality combined with awful customer service. I won’t be back, and I strongly recommend others avoid this place unless you enjoy paying for raw dough and attitude.

Never got to try the food because I waited 1hr and 20 minutes for it to never arrive,and was offered no solution other than “It should be there any second” on the first attempt for a solution, and “He has a lot of deliveries!” on the second attempt. If you are going to make people wait 90 minutes to 2 hours for 1 pizza just sell your business now and call it a day lol

Definitely recommend you stop by and try their pizza. Their crust is one of my FAVORITES! While this specific pizza was not my favorite, I do enjoy the sausage. However, I just fell in love with their Greek Salad. Great service, friendly and safe environment. Will be back!
