I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The food here blew me away. I thought it was more of a basic Pizza & Chicken Parm pizza place, but it’s not. It rivals any good Italian restaurant.

My friend introduced me to this place about a year ago. And I have been sooo many times since. I don’t go out to eat much or spend much on takeout – except for here. I’ve probably ordered takeout a total of 12 times in the last year, and 10 of those times was from Pizza One. It has become my tried and true restaurant, my go-to. Have tried other new places in the last year and normally end up crossing them off my list, and leaving disappointed, wishing I had just gone to Pizza One instead for the prices, the portions and the quality. I normally struggle deciding between trying somewhere new to find other places I really like, and just sticking with Pizza One because I know it’ll be good food. I’ve gotten many dishes here and they’re all consistently good. From their dynamite shrimp (what originally kept me coming back for more and more), to their penne vodka (the best i’ve ever tried, their vodka sauce is amazing, i always get extra to take home when I go). For the superbowl last year, I ordered a tray of the penne vodka because i wanted all my guests to try this, and they alllll raved about it and kept coming back for 2nds and 3rds, I’m sad to say I had none left over to enjoy the next day.
Their chicken vodka sub, is very large and filling, all their food is well portioned. Their pizza is my favorite in the area too, and they have many specialty options which i’ve tried. The penne vodka pizza is very uniquely good, but I recommend getting it with extra sauce. I’m not normally a salad person or a caesar lover, but their caesar dressing is homemade and I believe they’ve said it was passed down generations – its a winner for sure, this is the only place I’ll get caesar dressing. And specifically the chicken caesar wrap is a great on the go lunch. Oh and also the steak rolls with the fancy sauce, really delicious.
I also really like their rewards program also: Spend $200 get $10 off coupon. And you can stack those coupons which is nice, since not everywhere lets you do stuff like that. Food is also very reasonably priced in my opinion. I have 7 people in my family and took them here to eat once and the bill was $120 and we had plenty of food to take home. For going out to eat with that many people, I feel like thats a great price. They used to have a special Pizza of The Month too, I’m not sure if they still do that or not. But I got a really good one once, it was hot honey pepperoni detroit style. Thats the one thing i wish they offered was more detroit style pizza. But they already have plenty to pick from, so its normally hard to decide what to order already. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

After a long vacation, we wanted to end the trip on a high note and Pizza One in Sparta did not disappoint. The food was exactly what we needed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. You could tell they use quality ingredients and put care into every dish. It honestly hit the spot after being away from home. Great food, fast service, and a relaxed atmosphere this was the perfect way to wrap up our travels. Definitely a go-to spot whenever we’re in the area!

Disappointed
We are regulars,been coming to eat to your Sparta location for years.
Today was a sad day due to the pathetic excuse of a lasagna my husband got for dinner…
See it for yourself – pics attached . two of them the way it has been advertised and one is in real life.
We had a great family day until this happened. The item was taken of the bill and he got 2 very sad looking and poor quality grandma slices – we paid for. No floor manager present , star chef is on the premises but could not care enough to come out after one of his main dishes was brought back into his kitchen … The only person cared is one of the waitresses with seniority -we weren’t even her table … she actually would be an amazing manager …
So yeah, Pizza One – not good.
Fried calamari was like butter and Stromboli s were good – so that was a plus …

We had a really great waitress but noted that the team there all worked in harmony to provide excellent service. The food was a good. Surprise as it was not typical chain restaurant food. Very nicely done. We look forward to going back again. Senior portions would be good but no complaints really.

Ordered the Sicilian pie for Friday and picked up an all-meat calzone for tonite. We had slices of the Sicilian so we knew its good. We were so pleased to have a choice of baked or fried. Haven’t found a place that deep fries until Pizza One. Finally. It was delicious. Looking forward to another one soon!

The food was delicious, the special rice ball was out of this world! The total cost for our two dinners was reasonable. And most importantly our server Vincent P was outstanding! He was very attentive and helpful guiding us through the menu as this was our first visit.

This place is so cute! I was hesitant with it being a chain but it doesn’t feel like it. We came here with some friends one evening and were pleasantly surprised! The pizza was great, penne vodka, everything was awesome!!! The service was lacking which is the only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star. If the service was better it would be a 5. We waited for quite a long time to even be spoken to after sitting down, refills took forever and we hardly saw our server. Otherwise great experience. We’ll definitely be back!
