It’s a relaxed, local-feel spot with a straightforward menu and good quality pizzas. The bases were well cooked with a nice balance between a soft centre and slightly crisp edges, and the toppings were generous without being overwhelming.
It’s the kind of place that’s easy and dependable — great for a casual dinner, takeaway or meeting friends without anything too formal.
Service was friendly and everything came out quickly.
Overall, a solid neighbourhood pizza option and one I’d happily return to.
All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and our server was an absolute gem. They have a great balance of being clearly very family friendly but still maintaining a sense that it doesn’t feel overrun by screaming children (which even as a parent I don’t enjoy!)
The food was delicious and reasonably priced, pizzas weren’t massive (smaller than Zizzi for example) but still a great size, though the pasta menu seemed somewhat limited maybe? However we were delighted to discover that pizzas are 50% off in January!
There was a tiny hiccup in that the kids veggie pasta came with Parmesan on it (that isn’t vegetarian) but they were happy to remedy this, and all the other food was delicious. There’s a “foosball” table which the kids (and some of the adults) made use of and really enjoyed, which as a hospo manager myself I was amazed at, as it genuinely didn’t seem out of place at all??
Toilets are clean and nicely decorated, with baby changing facilities and a disabled toilet, too. Also little bits of attention to detail like the covers over the door hinges in the bathrooms mean that little ones can’t trap their fingers, which is a great idea IMHO.
I don’t have a massive appetite so appreciated the chance to have a single scoop of pistachio gelato after my pizza, when I usually wouldn’t bother dessert as they’re often too big / too sweet, but it was only £3 or something and delicious!
We’ll definitely be back, as the food was great and the staff were even better ♥️
One of the things I loved straight away was the open kitchen that looks directly onto the restaurant. You can watch the chefs kneading the dough, which instantly tells you this is going to be fresh, proper pizza made with care.
The menu is refreshingly traditional and Italian, but the service was so good they were more than happy to accommodate a couple of tweaks. Apparently pineapple is “just for the children”… but they very kindly added it to mine anyway, along with some extra olives, and it was absolutely delicious (or should I say even more delicious).
The pizza itself was fantastic: fresh, authentic Italian-style, and easily the best pizza I’ve had in Bristol.
Huge top marks for service too. I was on crutches that day, and our server happily moved our table to a more accessible spot at our request and thoughtfully pointed out the accessible entrance for when we left. That level of care really stood out.
The staff all had genuinely friendly personalities, which made the whole visit a pleasure. And finally the cosmopolitan cocktails are excellent. My friend is extremely picky about those, and even she was impressed.
An easy five-star recommendation. We’ll definitely be back. ✨
The food was genuinely spot on – we both couldn’t fault it. They have such a great variety and cater perfectly to those who are vegetarian/vegan. Not to mention their non-alcoholic drinks as well as their spritz’s were lushhh and matched the gorgeous atmosphere inside!!
Nothing short of 10/10.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and full of character — exactly what you want from a great neighbourhood pizza spot. The food was incredible: fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The pizzas were perfectly cooked with great toppings, and everything we ordered came out quickly and tasted amazing.
What really made the visit stand out, though, was the service — especially from Ava. She was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Her recommendations were spot on and she helped make the whole experience feel really enjoyable and relaxed.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right — great food, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service — but Pizza on the Park absolutely does. Huge thanks to Ava and the whole team. We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
