I went twice and had two different slices.
The first was pepperoni and it was fantastic! Very very tasty! Served hot and I added some hot sauce.
Next slice I had was one with pepperoni, mushrooms, garlic and olives (can’t remember all ingredients). Sadly this one did not hit the spot. There was no special taste of any one ingredient, nothing stood out.
My husband had the Hawaiian slice and said it was also very good.
I bought two of their tshirts, with the slices.
You can get a slice plus a tshirt for $9! A slice alone is like $6.50. The tshirts come in black, blue and white and with a few designs. Thick quality material, too!

This pizza spot seriously blew me away. I got a slice of their pesto pizza and one called Little Sur—and man, both were absolutely delicious. The pesto slice was so good, we had to go back for another. It was ooey, gooey, cheesy, and perfectly melty—hands down one of the best slices I’ve ever had. Every bite was packed with flavor.
I stuck to the vegetarian options since the non-veg ones weren’t halal, but if they’re anything like the ones I tried, I bet they’re just as amazing. Between the two, I liked the pesto more—it really hit the spot.
Price-wise, it’s about $7 per slice—not the cheapest, but honestly, for the taste, totally worth it. The service was decent. The person who served us wasn’t super interactive, but hey, maybe it just wasn’t their day. No complaints though!
The location is great too—it’s right by the beach, so you can grab a slice, find a bench, and enjoy the view while savoring an incredible bite of pizza.

Awesome pizza. My family came to visit Capitola and take pictures of the beautiful beach and colorful houses nearby. Pizza My Heart caught our eyes as we were walking around.
We ordered the following:
Big Sur – it has been the two time world champion best pizza! So we had to try. Indeed there’s a reason why it is a winner
Maui Wowie – if you love Pineapple pizza / Hawaiian pizza, you Must order this. It’s the best we’ve ever had. It was a Hit
D’Lex Chicken and Bacon – for meat lovers
What stood out to us has been the fact that the crust is thin and they cook the pizza right in the oven for you. If you ordered individual slices they should come out of the oven in 2-3 min. The staff know what they are doing.
The pizza is great to eat while walking along the beach. There are no indoor seating, but plenty of benches and the whole beach to sit and eat. Our family stood outside, huddled around in a circle, and took turns taking a bite of each pizza. We loved it.

This place was incredible, we were visiting the city, knew nothing about the place but while walking, we kept seeing dozens of people with pizza boxes, after a while we discerned the pizza must be amazing. As we walked towards it, we could see they had their own pizza box garbage rack. It was stacked with boxes. We got our slice and were beyond impressed . We kept thinking about that spot the rest of the trip. We love it!!!

It was the place to go for lunch at capitola village on a weekend and then just hang out at capitola beach. Fun times and the atmosphere is quite California beach and sun shine.
There are many pizza by the slice restaurants now in northern California, but capitola is easy most times to walk around as opposed to San Francisco Bay area.
There is no listing here to review capitola village, so I will add the photos here and just say it is a great area to visit, many shops, restaurants and a beach area, alebit lots of drift wood from storms. Unique homes and apartments just to stroll by.

Yes! Absolutely delicious! Always! Friendly and efficient staff! Great pizza by the slice and generous sized slices! Yummy! And great T-shirt deals! $8-$9 for Pizza slice AND a T-shirt! Only take-out, at this location on the Esplanade in Capitola. But grab a slice and head to a bench by the beach! Enjoy!

Pizzaaaa yes please, especially if it’s a thin crust cheese pizza?!? Just to be fair, I did have lunch at Zelda’s next door and was a bit hungry an hour or so later. I want to give this place the benefit of the doubt with that being said, I look forward to coming back and enjoying different slices other than just the cheese. I love pizza, thin crust, thick crust, cauliflower crust, California crust! But in this case, if I am to have thin crust pizza, I get a bit picky and request it crispy. Actually, I asked it to be extra crispy unfortunately when I got the pizza, it wasn’t crispy but rather limp and burnt on the bottom. Whoever rolled out the crust must’ve made it hella thin. I’d love to come back and give them a second try, or consider opening another location in socal! Solid 3.5 =)
Also this place is basically a walk up stand… no seats or anything so if you want to bring your pup you can enjoy your pizza standing up or there are many beautiful spots around downtown to enjoy this with your furry friend! (Dog Friendly)

Still simply the best. Pick up a slice and head to the beach. Toppings are fresh and creative and the thin crust is delicious. They throw the slices back in the oven and it gives it an extra crisp.

(Plant-based reviewer) Yes! They have VEGAN pizza! I’m not a fan of Beyond meat, but it is available along with Miyokos vegan mozzarella. For dairy lovers, they also have pizza by the slice. Highly recommend this spot!
