I love finding a good pizza place and it’s hard in Port Orchard but this will be my new “go to” I ordered a carne for myself along with some chicken nuggets and a veggie pizza for my wife. Although the price was a little high for the size of the pizza, in this instance I didn’t mind paying more for quality vs quantity! You could taste the freshness of everything. The veggies were so vibrant they almost looked fake. Everything was delicious and was made with love!

Came in looking for some pizza, other than Spiros, and was really surprised at the pizza they offered. The dough is made fresh in house everyday, the sauce and everything is cooked perfectly. My wife and I went in for a slice, afterwards we got a pie to go because we needed to share it with the family. The ratio of cheese to meat is perfect, they even go so far as to have sliced pepperoni so that it covers the entire pizza. This is their cold open and I think they are off to an amazing start.

Food: the pizza left something to be desired. A friend and I were excited to try a new pizza place, as many of the pizza places around here are okay, but nothing spectacular. Unfortunately, the pizza tasted bland. It didn’t even really sport a solid taste because it was missing a good sauce. The sauce wasn’t that good and there wasn’t enough of it.
I added other toppings, as I always do, and that helped accent the taste, but when I tried just the cheese, it was so low grade, I’ll be honest: Red Baron frozen pizza tastes better.
Service: First, for a medium cheese pizza, it’s $15. If you’re going to charge that much, your pizza better sing to me because I can go down the road and get a $7.99 two-topping LARGE pizza from Dominos that at least has a garlic crust. It’s $2.50 on top of that for each additional topping, so it was $20 for a smaller pizza of the same type that you could get at a chain. Again, I’d happily pay more IF the pizza warranted such a premium price.
Another issue I have is they don’t do half-and-halfs. What pizza store doesn’t? I’ve NEVER heard of a pizza store that was incapable of doing them. There are simple cookware tools that allow that process easily.
Another issue is that they don’t feel personable. They use an AI operator as a local business. Call right now and see. I gave it a shot and told the AI I needed a pizza available by 5. It said “okay, so you want a pizza for 5 people.” More useless than Alexa.
Atmosphere: the inside seemed alright, not too decorated, looks like a typical pizza shop. Nothing of note.
Overall, unless they put out that they have updated their sauce and are added more, I don’t think I’ll be back. It just isn’t quality pizza when places like Chuck E. Cheese can top you

I’m not really a big pizza fan, but this pizza is fantastic. My husband loves pizza and is always sad we don’t get it much, but he’ll definitely get his way more often now that this place is in town. The folks running it are also incredibly friendly and provide excellent customer service.

Pizza Meltdown is a must try! Their staff is so friendly, and their pizza is unlike any of the other local pizza joints around. Incredible crust and fantastic breadsticks! Their pizza reminds me of my childhood, nostalgic and traditional in the best way possible!

I will never go back to a chain as long as this place stands. The crust was soft and delicious and the sauce had an awesome flavor profile. 10/10 this will be my pizza go to from now on.

Pizza was just okay, nothing special at all. Wings weren’t wings at all which was disappointing. I think they were literally just Tyson Buffalo style boneless chicken bites that you can buy at the store and toss in your air fryer
